Suggestion: Vivid Plasma Rimmed Raincatcher at 45–57.27 keys

Aside from the Bicorne, this is the second best Pirate Hat for Demo.

Yes Demo is Scottish, but he has many pirates themes to him (hence the Eye Patch).

I paid 2.8 for mine. I tried hard to get it for 2 buds pure + sweets but didn't happen.

Nobody wanted to let it go for cheaper.

A lot of new effects are dropping, older effects are rising (such as Vivid).

It's a beautiful effect with this Pirate hat (Rimmed Goldcatcher) lol "no not themed".

Besides Pirates are all about Gold so besides Stormy, Vivid Plasma (Gold plasma) fits this hat perfectly!

From what i've seen with personal experience and weeks of trying to get one for my vivid collection, I come to a conclusion that this hat can be sold for 2.5-3 buds firm. Personaly I would not let mine go for less than 2.8-3 since it's what I paid. The very little people with this hat won't let it go for cheaper either.

I agree with this PC, plasma in general is increasing in value at the expense of weather and other tacky new stuff

I looked into buying one of these a while back, the only reason I didn't was it was so poorly valued by pricecheck and this would cripple the resale value. It's an awesome hat and I was surprised at how low it was valued. You are correct about weather effects, personally I value orbiting fire above them and I even find smoking and steaming more visually pleasing.

Number 2 after bicorn? Did we forget about the Samureye? What about the Conjurers cowl and the Tavish Degroot experience. All those hats are worth more nv (thus higher tiered) than this. Even the Bolgan is higher tiered. Seems we have some biased opinions.

You're flipping mad if you honestly believe that is getting 2.5 or 3. Fss you can get a nice looking vivid crown for 2.5, which is much more fitting. Quite frankly I think you didn't shop around enough if you forked over more than 2 buds on this.

I believe people are confusing demand with price increase. The price of vivids aren't increasing, only the demand is relative to the newer effects.

Even so, I prefer the Tippler's Tricorne over the Raincatcher personally when it comes to higher tier effects like Burning or Sunbeams.

For the lower tier effects, I agree that the Raincatcher looks better.

thank you Chancellor Puddinghead, yes I did mean the second best PIRATE hat... not overall hats ;) and @ a tasty serving of, you can say what you want but that is the truth, vivid is my fav effect and I shoped around for a while, also I am not a noob i've been trading forever dude. Also damn people with crowns will charge a lot more for some reason anyway. It's all up to you guys but go ahead and try to get one for less. Gonna be tough i'm telling you, unless you get lucky or something and find a quickseller... but YES I tried and NO I couldt get it for less. So you're gonna have to deal with these facts. Now mine will never be for sale cause i'm collectiong vivid hats. However I would NOT sell for less than 2.8 for sure. And I knwo i'd find a seller, heck I even had a guy adding me saying he would pay 2.5 pure while I was in server but that hat was not for sale. Even if the price does not pass here, I will not care much. I just wanted to share my knowledge about this hat. You probably just speculated what you "think" it should be worth. Let's not forget Vivid is going up on the count of newer effects going down. I KNOW what it's worth cause I tried. Nuff said the rest is up to poeple.

Lots of votes in every direction on this one, but not enough proof of a price updated needed supplied. I've seen it offered for 2 buds.
