Full Disclosure - I do now own this hat........

Used the current price to start off all my trades on the high end of the spread and got nothing. Even with N&B everyone wants 2 buds and in one trade a Vintage Bills or a Max? The current spread will NOT work in a trade right now and I hit up every person selling this hat for the most part. Bolts is a tough effect on this hat but being a set hat seems to still have its privileges. I'm a big believer in wanting a hats worth is different than what a hat is truly worth but I found no one believing this was an under 1.5 bud hat.

Exactly my point. Its the lowest effect of the hat yet no one budges under a bud and a half. Its tough to offer on a hat that a site tells you is under a bud and then no seller will come close to entertaining a bud offer. As a buyer you go in saying its the lowest effect and backpack tells me to pay only 1 bud. Buyer says horseshit its a set hat and cheaper for me to keep it or add as a sweetner. Not allot of offers of 15 bud for a few hats but it doesn't mean its not an accurate price.

I thought we were here to put an accurate number on an item. I'm a big boy and can take the group saying no but I'll leave with if no seller will sell for the price and no buyer will pay more than the price we list did we do our job?

If you can't buy one for .9 - 1.2 buds and the B/O are all 2 buds how do you expect any of them to move? You catch it in the middle. Right now the price says don't pay over 1.2 and the sellers won't go lower than 1.2. At what point do the hats move? You need to have the supply to have the demand and the only way to do that is to bring buyer and seller closer to a common area. You have a ton of suggestions here but your not getting the supply/demand idea. The set hat even with a low tier effect won't move at the current price and the price backpack puts out doesn't get any bought. If anyone pulls in this hat at a bud or lower I'll defer. I just don't see it happening.

The purpose of the site is to note the cost that it would take for a buyer and seller to come to an arrangement. Fair market value.

If your arguing that any set hat with a low tier effect goes for a bud or less it just doesn't happen. Look at TF Unusual, look on outpost or go to a trade server. Find me a snaggle, milkman, fez or attendant going for a bud or less. even the softcap which IMO is the worst of the lot it difficult to find one for a bud.

I can't argue how you feel but trying to buy a low tier effect set hat is a serious chore for a a bud and a key or two.

I think you feel N&B is shit and by being the lowest effect for the milkman it has to be under a bud. If that logic holds true lets look at the backwards ballcap. It doesn't. Bad effect on a set hat doesn't put it under a bud IMO. And my proof is you can't find them moving for that price. Just look at the buy outs for the most part. Closer to 2 buds all the time even for low effect. We could argue that the price is fine as is but the truth is nothing moves at that number. So what value does it hold? Just an opinion that a N&B needs to be under a bud? I'd argue that any set hat until Valve makes more will always be semi popular and wanted regardless of effect.
