As much as I hate it, (for I want one) your evidence is good. Agreed.

I actually got one for 1.66 today (after I posted this) but that was after hovering over/refreshing my tf2outpost search every few minutes and in the end I bought it less than 2 minutes after it was posted. It's getting rough out there.
