Just because buds are rising, does not mean that bills must also rise
People accept buds as 24 keys in trades, doesn't mean that's what they're worth. It's just Outpost assholes overpricing stuff that should be static
downvoting this because all i see is offers, not people buying this only the noobs that want a bills NOW. so NO.
No, the value of Bill's Hat is not dependent on the value of earbuds.
Bills hat price is unrelated with the earbuds price.
Bought my Bill's relatively easy for 8 keys 2 scrap (kinda random, I know). Downvote.
Bill's = 8 keys.
There's no rules saying 3 bills = buds... this isnt 3 scrap = a rec, this is supply and demand.
the price of bills is not in tandem with the price of buds.
Bills are fine where they are buds are rising because of many highballers on outpost and will soon come back down when it reaches around 30
WH has it overstocked at less than 8 keys. If you honestly believe that bills are worth 9 keys, then buy out the WH stock and make yourself some profit. (800 keys worth)
While there are some comments on this suggestion that are...poorly thought out at best (no item is static - everything is floated against everything else. Go back to school until you understand commodity valuation or stop spouting ridiculous ideas)...it's not time to raise Bill's. They have a value independent of buds, not pegged, and raising it now is as ridiculous as suggesting that prices should be static.
But everywhere I go, I see people selling them for 8 keys unless they are painted...
lol -92, let's make that -100
@Carrington, that's the point of currency, it generally stays relative in value, or close to, other types of currency. A Bill's is commonly used in lieu of 8 keys to save space, buds for 26, Big Kill for 14, or whatever, which results in greedy people accepting these items for less than what they generally go for, or selling it for higher.
e.g. "Bill's are accepted as 7 keys" or "Buds are accepted as 24 keys", et cetera, then they sell it at 9 / 27 keys (respectively), since the majority of people would rather just trade the item rather than selling it for keys, then using the keys to trade.
That's like going owning a store and accepting a £20 note as £15, unless the person pays in individual £1 coins.
These aren't Christmas items, they aren't going to spike and then fall.
Those selling for 9 keys are also buying them at 8 keys, so shouldn't the price be 8.5 keys?
