I personally don't blame people when it comes to them suggesting a price for an item they have. This is generally how a price suggestion happens. You may be more familiar with the price cause you own it, recently bought it, receive offers for it, etc.

However when there's people that just bump the price of their items with nothing else to back it up I bring my big red X to the party.
