Suggestion: Earbuds at 27–28 keys

Its not possible anymore to buy at 26 keys, so 27 keys and up.

Actually it should be 27 keys only.But people who buy this for 28 keys, it's their own fault..

i was messaged by someone to buy my buds, he offered 27 keys. I said i'd rather not sell then he offered 27keys 1,66 refined. clearly with the rising price of other items, buds are also rising.

No.. just no. I have a hard time enough trying to sell for 27 when I go into an Unusual trade server. Takes me a while for someone to give me 27 pure.

I could see 26.5-28, but 26 is still common enough to get a downvote.

The link with a user buying @ 27 is pretty hard to refute. You will get down voted by people who think buds should never change though.

A Buds Listing with a 27 Keys Buyout won't last for more than a Few seconds. You can try it your self. Open a Trade Put Buds on one side Keys on the other. Put "27 Keys" And Boom 5+ Requests in the next few seconds :)

I Got a Trade open buying buds at 26 Keys+1.33 Ref. No Takers, Zilch. Been 3-4 Days.

when i see a Buds @ 27 Keys. I Jump and Take it if i have the keys. Altho i saw a Trade with 2 Buds @ 26 Keys. 10 More Seconds and it was closed...

It's a shame this item doesn't have a stable price that everyone is satisfied with. Too many people seem to worship earbuds.

there is high demand because people think it is rising

so the sellers keep coming up with higher prices

here's the thing, Buds are a currency now, rise their price and rise almost all unusual prices.

I definitely agree, buds will slowly be worth more than many many unusuals. They are no longer obtainable whatsoever while unusuals are unboxed everyday

I've sold multiple buds @ 28 keys with little to no problem whatsoever. 27-28 seems fair.

I couldn't find any buds for 26 keys, bought a pair for 24 keys + 7.55 ref without too much waiting.

If they're gonna jump like this every five days the next month is gonna be interesting...

People still buy buds for 26 keys though. The price increase is just artificial due to traders buying for higher, to be above other traders, then selling for more, resulting in other traders adopting the new prices.

unusuals are unboxed everyday, buds are not, buds should rise probly at least a key every month

there is one bad thing with buds price on any pricecheck website:

when it says buds are 26-28, people try to sell them for 29 to make profit. Then, when others see those trades, they think: "why I am worse than him? I can sell buds for 29 too..." and then, the price becomes 27-29 with the same story repeating over and over again...

Since the current range 26-28 covers all the possible prices, there is no need to update.

I agree. Why are we trying to update again? To set the price at 27.5? I thought you guys said 27 keys were the norm in this thread? Which 26-28 keys covers perfectly. Why not have the price rest at 27 keys flat then? There is always variation in the market and it's folly to chase it the way I've seen some of these prices go here on backpack.tf. Also,why is Outpost the only site referenced? I'm pretty sure it's not the only site out there to reference prices from. What about TF2WH, TF2Tradingpost, TF2Bazaar, Steam TF2 Trading forums, SourceOP, TF2Trader and on and on. This entire price suggestion seems misleading especially since it's based on only 1 site that is known in the community to have some of the highest prices. :/

i have personally seen people selling buds for 26 many times.. its only rising because people WANT it to rise (the sellers)

Um... didn't the buds max out at 28 before they crashed in February? They got to a point where they got so expensive that everyone was selling the buds and no one was buying them. Not arguing the price for them, but if they get up to 30 keys, there will not be a lot of buyers, and the buds market will crash again.

I agree with this post, 27 keys is the norm. However, if you're extremely desperate for a pair, you can overpay a key to get them instantly.

I sold 3 earbuds in one day for 28 keys each. Actually I should say in 5 hours. Selling for 28 is definitely not the "high end"

Buds posted for 27 sell nearly instantly. Buds posted at 28 sell within a day. This is the price. Upvoted.

It's definitely possible to buy buds at 27 keys now, and 28 if you really need them quick, but you can get one for 27 pretty quickly as well. I do not think they should be higher than 28 though, since many people are trying to sell them for higher, and by doing that, it makes getting an usual harder since many traders prefer buds as payment over pure keys/metal, and lets face it, not many traders are rich/have the means to get keys/don't play tf2 long enough to quickly get the funds needed. If, like Music above says, buds begin to rise by one key every month, that in turn is going to diminish the desire for traders to want to get into the unusual market, since, if they cannot get buds to pay the buyouts of unusuals (which many unusual traders want) then many traders aren't going to even bother trying to get them, unless unusual prices drop as a result of buds increasing price, which may not be a good thing in the long run. In short, the 27-28 range I believe is reasonable enough; any higher is too much.

I saw many people that were paying 28 keys and hundreds that were offering 27 keys. Buying buds for 26 keys + 2 refs may take a looooong time, but is possible. I won't upvote nor downvote, just because of that. Oh, and buying buds on trade servers for 26 keys is quite common i suppose (saw at least few times in past week)

I couldn't remember the last time I saw someone selling a bud for 26. It's rising past 27 now, see heaps selling it for 27 + 1/2 ref.

Lol, you guys are going to crash the market. This shame shit happened in February, earlier this year. They crashed, and went down to 23-24 keys. No one want's to pay 30 keys for one.
