I'm sure that your survey including every demoman player returned those results, so I won't even question how you reached the conclusion that ghosts is a favorite effect on demoman. What I will say is that none of the 2 on outpost have offers above 3, so if you want the price to increase it'd be awesome if you had some evidence.
