I think you'll need a day or two to figure out where the price will stabilize at, we are still in the phase of people panic selling. The price will definitely go down but I for one don't think it will be as big of a hit as is speculated. It is still the best Scout weapon and (IMHO) the best thing in #49, I don't see it dropping much below 1.5 keys.

That said, 4.33 is probably a good price but I'm not sure we're quite there yet.

I remember rocket launchers and stickys.. I think it can go very low but it doesnt matter what I think. The price should be determined by the market.

@ViceVersa :D RoadTrain - The thing about strange rocket and sticky launchers is that their crates (44/45) were left in the drop system for a ridiculously long time and they completely saturated the market. Providing Valve doesn't do the same thing here with 47/49 I would tend to agree with Kabob seeing it is probably the most desired scout strange available.

I find it interesting that they're continuing to drop stock weapons for each class again. My best guess is that they are indeed trying to saturate the market with them and make them cheap to buy for all the newbie players. (Doesn't hurt that they're probably selling a ton and a half more keys as well).

Just like the S. Rocket Launcher and S. Sticky, believe me when I say these things will deplete in value. I sold mine about a couple weeks ago for 3 keys and no since the announcement, I see most people trying to quickly sell theirs for 2 keys (and maybe add some extra metal). Give it a week or two and these things will be everywhere making (I believe) the value to be around a key, or if it's anything like the SL and RL, 1.33 Refined after a month or so.

I have an post on the front page of tf2trade for an hour and have sold one at 1.5 keys.

I think the price is going way down on this one.

There are 2 competing posts for this item... this one is saying 4.33 ref, the other is saying 3.33-4 ref.

Reporting back: I have sold a dozen scatterguns for 1.5 keys from tf2trade.
