I have to agree now, can't seem to sell them for 2.55 anymore.

i have sold many for a key each over the past month, but this week it has been quite hard, as many people are hanging to this argument *oh come on ill just wait untill they get re released*, seems that the scattergun drop in price has affected all stock weapons "trhust" as many people think, me included, that the next crates WILL include one of the remaining stock weapons (sniper, minigun,grenade, wrench, knife).

still, i managed to sell for a key , but i had to wait a lot more than usual

actually when I have these, I sell it for 1 key 1 rec, and I sell somewhat quickly.

where is your evidence/proof of it being less than a key?

Sniper rifles are finicky creatures. One week you can sell one for a key in five minutes. The next week you couldn't give one away. I can see Scorchfire's point about people holding off since Valve does appear to be flooding the market with stock stranges and driving down their values but, for now, a quick search on outpost shows several S. Snipers that have sold for a key over the last 2 weeks so it's probably best left where it's at until some more definitive evidence surfaces.

Wasn't too hard to find some below 1 key, but not many survive longer than a day at 1 key either. My guess is that the demand is there, but due to the limitations of Outpost, a few of the cheaper ones slip through the cracks.
