this price is completely absurd, do a quick search over outpost (I'll do it for you, here: http://www.tf2outpost.com/search/40366298) and you'll observe that the highest bids are 16 at most whereas people who care to set reasonable buyouts want around 17-18. It'd probably be better for this website if people waited until the actual market price increased rather than base these suggestions off of speculation or projected changes.

No, people out outpost ask 20+ keys because they're hoping someone will be desperate, that's not the actual price.

The price DOES need to bump up a key for the min/max. I just bought one and no one is selling these for 16 keys now, if you get one for 17 you've lucked out, 18 is pretty much the norm. I'll probably suggest a price bump soon.

I own 2 sappers and I'm wanting them to go up (like most owners). And I'm thumbs downing it because its absurd.

item should be worth less. consider that there are about 6000 robro's, and 3000 strange machina's, and nearly 5000 strange sappers. this item is not that rare. for it to be the same prices as a s.machina or even close, is a price manipulation. let's also not forget that crate 40 is still dropping, and there's plenty more unopened, which means there's going to be even more crate 40 items. even at the current price listing, this item is over priced just for counting saps and with crate 50 on the way, crate 40 items will take a backseat relatively quick.

most people are unwilling to pay full price for them, and I got one for 14 keys relatively easy within the last 24 hours. sure people are asking more, but they're not selling either. most offers maxed out at 14-16 keys. caught a break and traded it for a strange machina to a trader who was only interested in the item for personal use.

personally, I believe the value of this item should drop drastically rather than go up. all the statistics point to it not being all that rare, and just like the robro, it should drop in value drastically.

it wouldn't even be this expensive if crate 40 wasn't soo expensive. crate 40 wasn't as rare as crate 30 drops, so the pricing of all crate 40 items aren't justified in the slightest. there's TONS of crate 40's that have been opened and still a bunch floating around.
