Cool speculation, but can you provide some links to trades where they have sold please?

Whether it "seems wrong" or not, you have no proof and are likely storing these on one of your 100+ alts. Downvote.

Fall keys convert to regular keys regardless of whether you have opened tf2.

Completely pointless to even try to sell as they turn into regular keys and fall crates are gone anyway. Downvote.

Sure they turn into regular keys if you start tf2, but some people collect strange items. Like with crates from the past or keys like this, you will still have them if you don't start tf2 or stash them on a alt account.

But i don't know what the price or the demand is for these keys so cant vote for them since there is no evidence whether or not they should increase in value or not. Try and find someone that collects on keys like this and see what they say.

They are keys REGARDLESS of whether tf2 has been started. They only appear as fall keys in your pack because backpack.tf goes directly off the item schema numbers.

Note that backpack.tf is still using the original ID and doesn't realize it's become a regular key

There ARE no Fall Keys anymore, so it's utterly pointless to raise the price. Even the Self-made quality ones turned into regular keys despite being stored in alt accounts.

edit: I'll have to correct myself - apparently Fall Keys will turn into regular keys as soon as they are traded. This makes the price raise pretty pointless, as this is an item that cannot be traded (least not without turning into a regular key).

Same deal with the other one. They're just regular keys that were fall keys.
