The person offering that retracted though (http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/5111555) because he bought one for 5. That "current offer" isn't really current. Just an important point. I'm not saying anything about the price though because I don't play Sniper.
I don't know if this could hit 7.5, with it approaching energy territory, especially with the whole rarity thing thrown out the window (1 of 9 searing plasma).
However I will still +vote because the current price of 4-5 buds is low.
Messy world, this veil.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/3313194 - The 7.5 sale to Miss V was over two months ago.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/3454024 - Where both Veils on the market came from. Claims to have rejected the 6.5 offer, though it can clearly be seen that when the trader asked if the offerer could add a bit more, the offerer just went and bought something else instead- personally wouldn't call that 'rejecting' the 6.5 offer. Unknown what it ended up going for.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/5111555 - The 6 pure offer, where the trader claims to have bought elsewhere for 5. Having trouble verifying that, the veils in his backpack over the past couple weeks included bubbling and purple energy but not plasma. The energy trade happened after the posting regarding the veil, the bubbling trade appears to have happened around the same time and the user in question had offered 4 on it. http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/5062231
It there was a veil sale for 5 buds, it was resold very quickly, and not through outpost.

I will say the 7.5 sale happened too long ago and is clearly above what people are already more than willing to sell at, so I don't see that happening again anytime soon. Still, I'd say a bump up to 6-7 is certainly reasonable, and I don't think a 0.5 too high upper range would be reason enough not to accept this.
