@Big Daddy Just because you dont want the price of buds to rise doesnt mean it won't, though I think 28-28.5 keys would be slightly better (see tf2finance.com). The earbuds he has doesn't falsify that.

If we freakin raise the price again, the next day buds will be 29-30... if we stop raising it then sellers stop raising it. Simple really.

Buds are gonna crash at this rate. Anybody else remember when that last happened? Buds reached $35, nobody wanted to buy, and it started a spiral. Buds currently are at $32. Classic boom and bust cycle; the sellers overextended on their price gouging and that was the result.

So let them raise the price. I'll be waiting with a stockpile of keys to picked up after the crash.

I think it's best to keep the price at 28 keys for stability sake. Going to 30 at this rate will just lead to revolt.

Inflation of keys that loses it's purchasing power (when "we" decide to increase the key value) will of course make the price of buds to increase since the keys loses value. But the prices have been raising a lot lately, and quick as well. It's not sound to inflate the prices of the actual value of keys in buying of buds since it can lead to crashing the key market, and atm we don't really have anything compared to it.. unless you want to have ~72 ref in your inventory :)

A lot of this price raising is a result of hype feeding on itself. But getting to 30 keys when 26 keys was the price in recent memory will cause a buyer revolt as Fanos said. There is a real reason why stores price stuff at 29.99 instead of 30.00, and we're steadily creeping closer to the 30 key mark.

Ive sold 6 buds in 2 weeks for 30 keys each. not that the price needs changing its just stupid to argue over a key.

This is a valid case of the slippery slope argument. Every time we raise the price a key the sellers will raise the price to a key above ours, eventually forcing us to raise the price a key again, which leads to the sellers.....you get the point.

We're not arguing over a key. We're arguing about whether or not we need to put a foot down on the rampant speculation and price raising of buds.

If earbuds rise because of this guy, this can mess up the Tf2 economy. Cause if earbuds start to rise, keys will most likely rise. Since earbuds sell for 30-32 dollars (sorry if im wrong) and keys can normaly sell for 1.50 in real world money, it can cause keys to also rise and if that happens the economy will be skrewed over. Also, if a key or two doesn't mean alot to you it actually does if your wanting to save keys and not buy stuff for extra high prices.

Bills aren't rising because buds are an easier target for speculation. A 1 key price raise on a bills worth 8 keys seems like a lot, but it seems less significant on a 27 key item like buds. It's easier psychologically to raise the price of buds versus the price of bills.

He caved for the price of 29 becuz he can't find any trade with the fair price of 28.I did some research on outpost and the lowest price is now 30 keys lol kids inflating the market!

I bought one yesterday for 28 keys + 2 refs. And I consider myself a good deal hunter. It's impossible to find them at 28 keys anymore. At least 28 + 2 refs now.

The range suggested is educated. Easy Upvote. Whoever downvotes just simply hasn't tried to buy Earbuds this week.

If you do some maths on the true value of buds when the key increased in value.

Buds where at 26 keys. Now you buy keys at 2.66 from 2.55,

that is 1scrap. 1 scrap * 26 ~ 2.88ref, so in tf2 value it becomes 1 key + 2 scrap. And this is what the buds should have raised in value imo. But when they start to increase people get greedy and try and start a trend of raising them even more and more and more and more until it crashes. So think on this closely before deciding whether or not you should change the price of them.

Everyone against this is just giving empty opinions on why it shouldn't go up. Not a single one has provided ONE link of someone selling right now for 28 keys. Get on board. Facts are facts, opinions are irrelevant.
