You got lucky. He was probably following spreadsheet which is dead wrong. You can't uncrate this and when it was split from equalizer many chose this in the end.
saw on sold for 2 keys on outpost. Best melee for solly and you can't uncrate it. It will be 1 key each soon. And then more if valve not rerelease it

Yeah, it could go to 1 - 1.33 ref quite soon. I've seen plenty go for 1.66 ref as well.
I often can't even find a buyer for 2 scrap let alone 1 rec. People give them to me as scrap in trades.
The price is correct. Even though I cannot believe this when I first saw it, it seems the prices of these are indeed rising.
However, I cannot agree that they are rising up as quickly as you say. The current price is a moderate range for the escape plan as of this moment. When the prices do indeed rise again, post this again. I am sure it will be accepted.
It is going up, bought mine for 1.33
@Austragas I have already provided proof that they are rising. Try searching for one on outpost, some are trying for 2 ref with no bites of course while most of the successful trades are at 1 ref.
