I personally only paid 2.66 refined for my lantern, and only because I'm collecting Level 31s of each Haunted item. There's plenty of unsold ones at 1 key, these things are in the same boat as badges.

Sellers are willing to drop their price to get rid of them, but there's barely any demand. You could ask for 1.33 for this thing and it'd probably still be hard to sell, by the fact that no one searches for them.

Some sellers ask for offers so hopefully a bidding war goes on between 2 buyers, but with 20 pages of this, you can just find someone else, assuming you wanted the misc in the first place.

The one for 2 ref probably only sold because the buyer looked at the price of it on spreadsheet or this site, and saw that it was 25-50% off, so s/he thought he could flip it (and he did) and resold it for 3 refined
