Unfortunately this got autoclosed because an older price suggestion was accepted. At that time it had only been open for a few hours, but had almost 3 times as many upvotes as downvotes, so I am resubmitting it, so that people have a chance to vote.
The most common selling price is 1.33+, and I've seen very few above 1.66, or below 1.33
BTW, I own about 3 of these, but I'm not selling them, because I expect the price to be
higher in future
Evidence Links
All of this evidence links to trades where the offer is actually accepted. These are not buy out prices, but real trades.

Well... these close because an admin closes them.
@Legacyfire no, I checked this with one of the backpack.tf admins. If one price suggestion is accepted then any others close automatically, even if it's only just been added, like this one.
Since this had already received many more upvotes than downvotes, I'm going to leave it open for at least a day or two this time, and see how it is received. Otherwise, people's votes are ignored, and the time I spent finding evidence is wasted...
The admin who have accepted the other suggestion surely have seen your suggestion and decided which of the two he takes. (In other words, re-opening is useless now.)
The higher prices may be influenced by this site (your 1st link). Maybe we should wait some days and look what happens on the market.

@Pomf | Woifi - well, if that's true then the prices starting from now are also going to be influenced by this site... so nobody will sell for higher than 1.33. So what should we do about that?

And, with no disrespect to the admins, user votes should decide prices as much as possible, that's the whole point of this site. People obviously like this price suggestion, because it was receiving upvotes twice as fast as the other one. So let's just let people vote and decide... it doesn't do any harm to give them the choice
And BTW, I checked with the admin who accepted the other suggestion, and he had no objection to me submitting another one now
I'm curious how you could possibly know how many up votes your suggestion is getting since the whole thing is done blindly now...
@Legacyfire That's correct, you can see only the votes after it's closed. It had 24 upvotes and 8 downvotes at that time
Here's some more evidence. As before, I only post links to real trades and offers, not to buyout prices, etc

I don't think you need to make this change now. Many more of your links are within my range I suggested than the 1.33 to 1.66 upper range, a few do get sold higher than 1.33, just like a few get sold lower, but the majority get sold or are trying to be sold between 1-1.33. We shouldn't concern ourselves with outliers too much, but where the majority is being bought and sold.
Sorry I irritated you earlier by the way. It's hard to not come across as attacking through a computer screen sometimes.
Just give it a week or so and suggest again, prices might change to your favor in that time. It just got autoclosed because the admin picked which he thought was the best price.
Range is too big
I agree, we need a price rise because no one sells it for 1 ref. Personaly I would suggest 1.33-1.66 because black box needs some love :] But upvote anyways.
@cleverpun I wasn't really sure about the range. Do you think 1.33-1.66 is better?
I'm very doubtful about the number of sales happening below 1.33 ref -- I could hardly find any from the last month. But anyway I figured that some people have upvoted a price suggestion of 1-1.33, so I should respect their opinion a bit, even if I feel that the top end of that range is too low.

@Shake and Bake
Wait.. what..? This is completely untrue, what are you even looking at here? I see 15 links above 1.33, and only 5 below 1.33...
potato, i don't really even care anymore. this is just petty and childish. You need to respect that the admins saw both of our prices and chose mine as the better one.
I don't know why you care so much to change the price now immediately after my price got accepted, just seems childish and needing to feel vindication for whatever reason.
@Shake and Bake - You seem to be imagining some kind of weird drama here. I simply had a price suggestion open that was automatically closed after a few hours, and I wanted to give people enough time to consider it, as I had already gathered all the evidence. That's all. I checked with the admin involved, and he didn't deliberately close it, so he was happy for me to resubmit it.
I don't bear you any ill will, but why are you posting here? This isn't some kind of emo discussion forum. Do you have some actual evidence about this price suggestion that you want to contribute?
