Not to mention the fact that nobody wants to buy B.M.O.Cs. The christmas-is-coming hype has died.

Lowballer links. One doesn't even have a list price and another has been up a month and hasn't bought any at all. You gotta have seller links and buyer links and legitimate ones at that. DOWNVOTED until I see real proof. Which are not in these current links.

And it is NOT that the "christmas is coming" hype has died, it's that the Halloween crate unopening hype has taken precedence. Your lack of understanding of this plus links of lowballers with no sales = DOWNVOTE

Buyer trades don't have buyers. See for yourself. Nobody wants a BMOC anymore. HYPE HAS DIED.

Oh look, is that a BMOC in your bag?

@Swag: 2 BMOCS in yours. Completely understandable.

Halloween crate unboxing doesn't change the fact that the price will remain down for the next 8 days.

I will look for some trades, if I don't see them selling for 26-27 keys then I will agree.

As to the hype - That is like saying the hype to buy buds has died. It is not that people don't want buds anymore, it is that people are selling cheap to get keys.

I like how owning an item takes the legitimacy out of my argument automatically. One could easily argue that you want to lower the price so you can buy one for cheaper. Now that doesn't seem fair to allege now does it? Use valid arguments and stop being a child. Jeebus.

@Swag: I'm terribly sorry, I didn't mean to upset you. Friends?

                @Random852: Exactly.

No longer buying bmoc's. No one wants them,

Every other Want bmoc's post on OP is an unusual, or another item trying to sell for promos.

I was surprised to see people selling these so cheap, and a little suspicious, so I took a closer look at some of the evidence provided by the OP. It does seem to check out.

                    Link 1 - http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/4200111

23 Keys. It's much clearer if you look at the BMOC seller's trade here: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/5852799

                    Link 2 - http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/5442198

23 Keys. The seller is a scammer, which makes it slightly dubious or a possible quicksell, but anyway, the item history shows that it was sold: http://www.tf2outpost.com/item/1143873989

(There's another offer to sell for 23 Keys on the same trade, CCAudioX, but it looks like that hat was sold to somebody else for an unknown price)

                    Link 3 - http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/3662802

21 Keys. 'TLS | TheGodOfTacos' seems to have agreed to that price, though he has been offline since then, and the trade hasn't happened yet. (The BMOC is still in his backpack, and the keys he has come from an older trade, according to their item history).

I'm going to upvote this. I'd suggest that people who disagree go and find some evidence of recent trades at higher prices.

Edit: And... I don't really care if somebody has 100 BMOCs in their backpack. Ignoring people for that reason alone is simply dumb. I just care about the evidence.

Yea going thru tf2outpost I see multiple bmoc + 1-2 keys for 1 bud posts with no buyers. Taking it down a notch is fine. - UPVOTE

"@Swag: I'm terribly sorry, I didn't mean to upset you. Friends?" - the fact that you couldn't even answer my question tells me you wouldn't want to be my friend :(

@potato The only people who disagree have several in their bp or are trying to use them to buy Unusuals. They will downvote just to keep their bp prices up. They evidence is here for the Drop, and chancellor hates this hat, so it will probably be accepted.

Its because so many people are trying to sell "cause christmas is coming," and the supply is x1000 demand. Once Christmas is gone, however, i feel like the BMOC will fall into the same pattern as buds, because people treat it like a promo. I have one in my inv, but i have to upvote this..

This hat honestly shouldn't be more than a bill's.

I just sold one yesterday for 27 keys.

                              http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/5773320

@bigbob one sale is not going to change anything if you sold your others for near same price then it might

                                  @Bigbob (http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/5773320)

Since I'm checking some of these, I'll say that one checks out too. The item histories at TF2OP show a BMOC and 27 keys were exchanged: http://www.tf2outpost.com/item/1228419054 and http://www.tf2outpost.com/item/1228419173

That's only one trade though. More evidence of prices like that would be good

@Potato, Thanks for checking things! I appreciate it. I would like to point out though. There are only 4 links to reference on this suggestion which includes one selling for 27 Keys yesterday. So.......I can't really see why just 4 links could affect the price when there are 14,426 copies of this item in existence. Shouldn't we see at least 10 trades before deciding? Anyone? Anyone?

You only have people buying, nobody selling; the B.M.O.C does not need to go down in price; your links prove nothing.

                                        Totally , Upvote

@Riva Bechtol (SEA) - agreed that there isn't much really solid evidence of trades here, but the small amount of evidence presented is good. If I see a definite sale for 23 keys, I assume the seller probably looked around a little and couldn't find any better offers, so that evidence carries quite a bit of weight.

If you can find similar evidence showing a few recent trades above 25 keys, then that would carry a similar amount of weight.

                                            http://i.imgur.com/QZGFb.png

Buds valued at current cost of 26 keys, Bills at 8 keys, Keys at 2.66 ref

If Buds go down to 25 Keys then yes, B.M.O.C. is 23-25 Keys.

I hope you guys know that people are quickselling to go on unusual unboxing sprees.

Everyone's quickselling everything. Everyone wants in on a Halloween unusual. Everyone quickselling makes the price lower. I don't know whether or not to upvote though, since even the quicksells are the "regular" price, they're still quicksells.

Everyone is quickselling, but i am also seeing way more bmoc + keys for 1 bud trades than before. It used to be the other way around (bud + keys for 1 bmoc)...

Can someone please tell me what in the hell is meant by 'quickselling'? If you mean to say selling for a price someone would actually pay at the moment, shouldn't you just say 'selling'? There is always competition between buyers and sellers; asking a good price or making a decent bid are part of the game of actually selling and buying stuff.

Just traded one for S. Sapper + S. Holy Mackerel, also have another similar offer for another of mine. Don't think lowballer buyers have much to do with the true value of an item.

Quickselling is lowering your buyout because you really need to sell the item. There could be many reasons for quickselling. A reason the past week has been that everyone wants keys right away to uncrate. Therefore, many sellers are willing to take less than they normally would take in order to make a quick sell.
