The usual problem is, with everyone selling at 1 key, nobody is selling at 1 key. Post a WTB trade for 2-2.33 ref and I'm sure you'll find a seller.

    You cannot just look at the seller's asking price, you have to look at the buyer's bids as well.

      @xen:

      If you check the links I provided, you'll see that they actually are being sold for 1 key... :p

        @pd' Esgalhador: Looking closer, I expected to see a lot of them unsold. About half your links show as sold, although we can't really be sure what they sold at. I still think they're all priced at 1 key because the spreadsheet says so, and if you posted a WTB for 2 ref you'd get one:

        http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/5593184

        etc.

        I also expected to see a hell of a lot more of them for sale on Outpost as well, so I could very well be wrong about this.

          @pd' Esgalhador - B/O prices are always going to tend to be slightly above the market price - that's the nature of trading. So, by themselves, a bunch of 1 key b/o prices actually hurts this suggestion more than it helps it.

          In the list of links you've provided, you should look through the comments and find a few cases where a buyer actually offers 1 key. Otherwise this evidence isn't very strong.

          I'd look for them myself, but I've been staring at TF2OP for four hours and I need a break :/

          In principle, it seems possible that this could be rising in price a bit, as people who want them buy them up, but you need evidence.

            @Potato: As Xen said, about half of the links I posted show sold Guillotines which B/Os was 1 key. Some of the trades didn't even accepted offers and there was only one counter-offers from buyers, which apparently was ignored. I think it's safe to assume that they sold it for 1 key, since if there was any negociation it was done privately and this helps nothing on setting prices. I'm not saying "let's ignore the buyers side", but there are a bunch of trades where the price of the good is 1 key, and one or other trade where it was the last price (2-2.33 ref), if it's a selling trade it's sold immediatly, because buyers know that it's cheap. I think the spreeadsheet should show us an average and since it's way easier find trades where the guillotine is 1 key, I think the price should go up.

            I disagree when you say B/O tends to be higher, I can always buy items paying the prices set here (backpack.tf) with almost no effort, the exception was that guillotine. I entered on almost every trade that I found, placed a bid on a lot of them and had my bid declined, saw way higher B/Os from sellers (4 ref - 2 keys) and way lower from buyers (1-1.66 ref), but from what I've saw, 1 key looks the average.
