Actually people do under price on outpost, you just almost never see unless you're the one who gets to the trade first because they sell very quickly.
Back to the point at hand, upvote. Proof is good.
True, the general trend on outpost for the power traders is to sell high, but they also usually lowball the crap when buying so it usually evens out to a fair average price, and I'd say the average price for these is probably around a key(2.66 ref). Going to have to downvote until I see some proof otherwise:
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/5852488 Sold for 1 key
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/4728140 Sold for 1 key+
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/3202702 Offer of a key
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/5001309 Sold for 1 key
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/5921914 Offer of 3 key item for specs(likely outlier)
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/5852488 Sold for 1 key
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/4613080 Sold for 3 ref
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/5869880 Sold for 1 key + 1 rec
In fact on the first 3 pages of tf2outpost, idk if I've seen one go for less than a key.
The majority seem to be bought and sold for around a key/2.66 ref, so I think the value stays. Again, no proof, no upvote.
I've sold these many times for a key in metal or +3.33 ref worth items, also can't ignore Paul Ryan's massive evidence, downvoted
Hmm, was thinking this could go from 2.33-3, anyone agree? If this gets denied I will redo with that, using paul ryan's evidence.
2.33-3 ref seems more reasonable but it's a pretty big range. Keys are worth some 2.77 each now, and since there are offers over that, let's put the range at 2.66-3ref.
is there a way i can edit without completely deleting? and will i lose rep for doing that?
Just close the trade, then redo it. You won't lose or gain a significant amount of rep, and people won't get mad at you :P
Close this and you will still have gained rep. If you think you can suggest a better price with better evidence, please do so.
You're doing pretty good for having such low number of suggestions. Keep it up.
