Same as the other suggestion, just a bigger range. No vote, since I'm really not sure.

The bigger range does look better though, so maybe upvote.

that's all i'm doing here, it's the same but it fits better because they are fluctuating, so until they calm down, a bigger range is needed

the range is bigger, but i do agree that this is a very fair deal-- seeing as how everyone seems to be selling them for somewhere upwards to 3.33 now for some reason.

I would say it's too close of a proximity to when Valve will fizzle the Halloween items and turn eerie crate keys into normal ones for any new ranges to be valid for a while. The price should hopefully begin to sort itself out tomorrow.

that's the problem though, this is current prices, until the market levels out again, this is the price range.

Stop it with the inflation. Halloween update ends tommorow. Downvote.

Says the dude who sold 60+ keys for 2.88 a few days ago and has 250 ref sitting in backpack waiting to buy cheap keys...... I loled.

worst part is, this isn't even inflation, it's moving the price range to fit what i've sold, and seen sold and bought and seen bought at. i can't get a key for 2.55, nor can i sell for more than 3.00 USUALLY, i actually sold 2 yesterday for 3.33, but i think THAT was an anomaly, not the 3.00 itself.

I myself have sold keys at 3 Ref, but I still think it's more of an exception than the rule. Unfortunately, as of now, so is buying at 2.66.

I really wish i knew what happened but keys are now valued at 3 ref. How did that just happen like that?

If you weren't around for the last week+... People have been on an Eerie Crate opening spree. The only way they were allowed to be opened was to use Eerie Keys. Now, people naturally didn't want to pay $2.50 themselves, but were happy enough to spend more metal for it, because they wanted to uncrate new effects on hats. The demand for these Eerie Keys was used at full advantage by people who had them and then made a price for them. They wanted more than 1 normal keys worth (~2.66 refined) and started pushing it up to 2.77, 2.88, etc. then the spreadsheet thing started. The scammer (owner and as people call him) of the site made the price range from 2.88 - 3 refined. Of course, people sell at a price that profits them more. If course this meant that all the sellers listened to Spreadsheet and others followed their lead. Thus we had suggestions for 3 ref on keys on backpack since then.

It is stupid, but I happened. And I fear that the key price will never go back down to 2.55 - 2.66 ever again. Just like the days when keys were 2.33, it never returned to that price. So, expect a long hall for the new price of keys, 2.77 - 2.88.

just to clear a misunderstanding, it's not eerie keys, but normal keys that we're talking about, as ANY unusual you uncrated during that week was a halloween unusual.

I'll go ahead and give this an upvote. Apparently, if you suggest a price for keys or buds, the entire community will explode.

The median key price for TF2 right now is 2.77-2.88, if you post a buy thread asking to buy keys for 2.77 you can get them, if you post a sell thread asking for 2.88 you can get it. Increasing the range to accommodate every key transaction is ridiculous. I've seen keys go for 2.55 multiple times in the past week, but neither that, nor 3 refined are very reflective of the current market.

Basically, 2.33-3 refined is an accurate key price range, 2.77-2.88 is both accurate AND precise.

                    *sigh* It begins again.

I recently saw alot of people selling keys at 2.44, not just a group of people nor a server, but a whole clan or two, +700 keys in stock. I'm saying dont fall for the 3ref + and rising price bubble that is going to happen

This could be credible proof: http://tf2finance.com/keys/

Except it's not at 3ref yet.

Yeah, I was just speaking to base64 today and he added that feature. The range is definitely 2.66-3 at this moment.

I think its a too big price range for something that is so used in trading.

Always see prices from 2.66-3 ref all over, seems like a legitimate price range.
