I don't see why you guys are downvoting him. He provides plenty of evidence, he gives a thoughtful and well thought-out description, and he clearly doesn't have a bias about raising the value of this item.

People are laughing at this foolish suggestion with it's blatant self-interest, clumsy price manipulation and total lack of evidence, but it as a fellow salvaged crate owner, I think it makes PERFECT SENSE.

Look at the facts:

1 The submitter owns 14 salvaged crates, so he is basically a TOP CRATE EXPERT who must know his prices

2 If this suggestion is accepted, the submitter would get a very nice 112 key profit. The chance to get an enormous profit like that obviously means he must have spent LOTS OF TIME researching this

3 Christmas is coming

I think you shouldn't even be able to earn +rep for -downvoting stupid suggestions like this, it's just too easy. Also there should be some rule of needing like 1-10 rep before you can post a suggestion. I've seen about 10 users in the past day or so suggest ungodly stupid prices and immediately go down to -12 rep. Why not stop the stupid before it even has the chance, by forcing a required contribution to existing suggestions before you can make your own.
