Funny. I sold mine during the Halloween event for 3 keys and it was only up for 2 hours.

Sold 2 or 3 of them during halloween for 3 keys and it doesn't took long...Actual price is fine.

I posted on the last, closed, price suggestion as well, but I'll have another go at it:

What these sellers aren't telling you is that this is pretty easy to get at around 6 ref. I bet I've bought more black paint than anyone here and have always paid 6-6.33 ref for it. Some of it I actually use, but usually it's just to resell at 2 keys and 1 ref (an easy way to buy keys at 2.5 ref).

I don't think the last price suggestion should have been accepted, but that's the way it goes.

I can post about 5 recent examples from my inventory history, if anyone is curious to see, but I've never paid 6.66-7 or 3 keys for black paint, and never will have to as far as I can see. There's just not enough demand to justify the price for it, even though it's an expensive item in the store and it comes from disappearing crates.

But it's a fact that these paints sell for 6-8 ref. What do you think, should a new suggestion cover this huge range or should it be something in the middle?

I guess I'm saying the actual value (price?) of the paint is around 6-6.66 ref, like the second most recent price suggestion, even though a small amount of sellers are successful at 3 keys.

I'm really interested to find out if those 3 key sellers unboxed the paint, bought it from the store, or bought it at a similar price.

A good compromise is 6-7 I suppose, so I'm voting for this one for now.

I unboxed my paints.

Bought one for 6.33

And another for 6.00, but it was already on item(executioner+6 ref for black executioner)

I actually would consider the executioner deal to have been overpay. Usually paint is half the price when already on something. However if you really wanted it to be black then it's not much of a loss to you.

Well, of course you're not gonna be able to sell it for 3 keys, Which is in equal value to 8-9 refined now.

I've sold a ton of black and white paints for 3 keys each. Downvote.
