Just refresh the page. There are a lot of trades selling at 3 ref but you could definitely find people selling at 2.77 - 2.88 and occasionally 2.66. So if you can find people selling at 2.77-2.88 why buy at 3 ref?

i would say more 2.77-3.00

No one seems to be buying at 3 ref anymore. On outpost a lot of people are selling at 2.66-2.88.

Supply is going back up.

Demand is plummeting.

Harry, you do not understand economics, or capitalism for that matter. Why buy something at 3 refined when you can get it for 1 to 2 scraps cheaper.

Oh, and did you notice, Harry, that PEOPLE WANTED TO BUY IT CHEAPER IN ALL THE LINKS YOU PROVIDED, AND AT MOST THERE WERE 3 CONFIRMED ONES YOU PROVIDED.

yea because there is only 1 and a bit sellers on each page

its not just buying some people can easily sell for 3.00 i have done so, yea you can buy for 2.77 as well but some people as i said are successful in getting more than that.

and what if everyone at 2.77 or 2.88 or 2.99 have sold out?

people could charge 3.00 no problem

and people did want to buy for cheaper in them links but the seller wouldn't budge when he knows that he can make a good profit.

I am seeing a lot of people flat out REFUSING to pay 3 refined for the keys, and in the last link Harry provided, the user was too lazy to hide those that were not paying the amount he wanted. UPVOTE.

Second: He's sold two. That's an exception size sale, not a market changer.

Third: His price is up for haloween. Which is over.

Problem is that unboxing madness is not over. Everyone wants still unbox if they get a key. Number of keys have been dropped about 55000. It was about 50000 2 days ago. I am sorry but I gotta downvote it since unboxing madness isn't over yet.

It is over,since no one is actually in rush to unbox halloween effects.Now people can wait as long as they want to get more keys with the metal they have.

Thinking like you,unboxing is never over,always someone unboxes stuff.The point here is what are they willing to pay to unbox stuff? That is why prices are dropping.

the problem we will be facing if keys get to high is that all items will have to be made in metal instead of in keys like backpacktf used to do cuz if we increase it to 3 ref any item worth 2 keys will not be worth 2 keys anymore cuz keys went up (old = 2 keys = 5 ref[][] new = 1.7 keys = 5 ref) see what i mean!

That is another thing people fail to understand,after a point,people will start buying keys from the store instead of using metal,which will cause a market collapse.

The market is stabilizing, although it might not drop back to 2.66. Maybe 2.77 will be the new base in a few weeks.

I still managed to buy 120 keys at 2.88 when people were wanting 3 ref. Just cuz the craze is over doesn't mean people will sell 2.88 keys at 2.77.

Managed to sell about 4 keys for 3 ref each within the past 24 hours. Not just quite yet, but eventually the price will go back down.

3 ref is unrealistically high and in the realm of the high ballers. Keys are less than 2.33 on tf2wh. never seen a trade server trade for more than 2.77. never seen anyone offer more than 2.66 either.

With keys moving around in price so much recently I dont see how they can be used as a currency scale on backpack.tf either, it would make more sense to only use refined for common items and keys/promos for unusual/rare items.

while the average is around 2.77, many keys are still trading in the current range.
