6:44 PM - Chief Boogaloo Shrimp: hi
6:44 PM - A Racist Carpet Salesman: hey
6:44 PM - A Racist Carpet Salesman: you selling a strange stickey 0.55?
6:44 PM - Chief Boogaloo Shrimp: Sold the last one I had, sorry.
6:44 PM - A Racist Carpet Salesman: darn
6:44 PM - A Racist Carpet Salesman: thanks anyway
6:44 PM - Chief Boogaloo Shrimp: Good luck.
A Racist Carpet Salesman is now Offline.
I love usernames. Also, I bought one for 0.33 and sold it for 0.44 quite easily, with no trade bumps. I think this is a decent suggestion but I doubt it will last long with the large influx of these weapons.
managed to sell one for 2 rec so upvote
I've tried selling for 2 rec and it was almost impossible, lowered it to 0.55 and they got sold. That's why I didn't include 0.66.
yeah i know why you didnt include .66. i just said that so i can prove that a pricerise is needed

I'm pretty sure the current range is fair. Links/everything is all there.
While I did agree with your price, I had no problem today selling them for 0.55 and even after I was all out, people still added me.
I'll take your word for it. Upvoted.
Upvote, I can sell these for even 0.66 with extreme ease.
I was able to sell one for a tour of duty ticket. http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/5449172 my trade here had the strange stickybomb launcher listed as 1 ref (trade was from 3 weeks ago, and I hadn't changed the prices), and I was accepting tour of duty tickets as 1 ref (currently listed at 1.4 ref on backpack.tf). It definitely shows that people are willing to pay more than a rec for these, but I wouldn't go so far as to say that this trade was normal (or expected)
trade was added 3 weeks ago, but the trade happened yesterday
True, lucky you. There's plenty of them at 0.66 though, so probably he had no metal. I've placed items at 0.66 or 1.66 and people ask me if they can pay me 1-2 refs.
This is too fast for an update of price. The last update was yesterday so i'm staying neutral.
Okay, thank you for telling us in all bold.
Sort of unrelated to real prices, but I noticed this about a week ago when I was going to list a few at 2 rec, and decided to check my price:
What's with everyone on Outpost trying to sell sticky bomb launchers for a refined? I mean like 95% of sellers want a refined for this item. It's bizarre, like they all decided to bump their price up from 2 rec to 1 ref at once, even though there's a ridiculous number of them for sale. It's like nobody actually wants to sell the item at all...
Or have they always priced it at one refined and since I'm not a buyer I just noticed it recently?
When it was 0.66, people still tried and sell for 1 ref. Even though there were so many at 0.66.
Ok here's what's changed in a week after a quick search again:
60% of the sellers are now asking a reasonable 2 rec price, or holding around their 1 ref price
20% of the sellers are asking .33 - .44 or something like that to actually sell their crap
But get this: about 20% of the sellers have raised their price! They're asking 1.33, 1.66 ref and I bet I'll see someone who wants a key for one if I look any further.
What a wild place Outpost is. :)

4:44 PM - adamj.harner: hey
4:44 PM - adamj.harner: sticky launcher for .55?
4:44 PM - adamj.harner: how many do you have in stock?

4:46 PM - adamj.harner: thanks :D
This is random...but what is your password? I know you're not supposed to tell anyone, but you can trust me.

Ha. Ha. Ha.
I'm guessing 10char is adding enough characters to post.
No, that's how we say bye in my country. TENCHAR!
Oh cool, 10char.
Oh, I forgot to mention, someone on tf2trade bought a dozen of them from me for 4 ref about a week ago after a lengthy discussion on the topic: http://www.reddit.com/r/tf2trade/comments/12syqa/q_what_happened_to_all_the_stranges/c6xvi7b
I have sold 2 about a week ago at .66 each
The tf2 community isn't static. Also, the symbols on your name mean rice grains.
Yes i know
Someone likes rice.
Yes I do. Along with the fact that I speak Chinese. Hence my name. Dare I assume you enjoy shrimp?

That's pretty cool
This comment train is full of shrimp and rice, mmmmm, mmmmm
Was testing this out for the past 24 hours at .44. 11 views and 1 book mark without any action. I'm not so sure this is that true and does not really merit an increase in price.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/6300616
I don't konw, but it seems to me that some people don't understand what a shaded out scrap means. If you would repost the trade with just 1 rec + 1 scrap, you will get offers faster.
Trying again, but I still feel like a price increase is unnecessary. Time will tell.
I don't know about this one. It's believable, but the evidence is quite thin. I tried looking for more sales above 0.33 but it's hard to find anything definite - you have to look through so many overpriced spam trades on TF2OP where nobody is buying anything. Not voting
I'm siding with you on this. I've only just now received interested when I dropped my trade back into the old range.
Slight interest at old price range at .44 and no interest in the suggested price range of .55. I'm afraid I can't agree with this suggestion. I've had a trade up for over 24 hours on the suggested and attempted trades on trade servers with no interest. Used current range and received only marginal interest. This is on 30 min bumps and actively working a trade server. Sorry, but this doesn't seem like a legitimate suggestion.
ScoRes is better
What?
10char
He means that the Scottish Resistance is a better weapon. I like the sticky better because of the increased speed of laying down bombs. However, the Sticky is still worth more (and I use the strange chargin' targe).
Oh, I thought he meant some other suggestion.
Yeah another offtopic. :D The Resistance is only good for sticky traps or spamming them all over the place. As an agressive Demoman or on a 1:1 the normal is (far) better.^^
I would agree with that. Since I also use the Polycount Demoman set which grants fire resistance, I like to use the chargin targe so I can refill my grenade after I blow up.
