From this point forward, no one gonna pay 2.88 for a key anymore. Key price wll only going downward back to its original price.

I do. Oddly enough people are still slow to sell to me.

The speed at which they sell for 2.66 leads me to believe that their value is in fact higher than 2.66. I'm still seeing a lot of keys moving at 2.88-3 ref, personally selling quite a few at 3 ref, and while it seems to be trending back downward, it's not at 2.66 yet.

This doesn't make much sense to me. Example: If the range was 3 to 3.33 ref and every seller on outpost sold for 3.33 ref except for a few, the few who sold for 3 ref would be sold out in a heart beat. Would that imply that the price should be higher than 3 ref? Nope.

it just means buyers are aware of good deals. Why is it a good deal? Because the majority of sellers ask for 1 rec more than that.

Yeah, well if a ton of people sell keys for 1 ref each, that doesn't mean keys are worth 1 ref. It means the people are selling below their value. If people are flocking to 2.66 key sales in hopes of being the first to get them, that's a pretty good indicator that they're trying to buy them low.

I think 2.66 is still a typical minimum price for keys. Also the last accepted suggestion isn't even a day old.

Definitely hasn't dropped to 2.66 only, people are still selling higher, and keys will ALWAYS have a range. downvote.

Your logic makes sense but we need to wait for the keys to get back on the market that have been spent on unboxing. Bottomline is, they're above 2.66 still, no matter how much we wish they weren't.
