I personally think it should be a bud, look at the *what's in the sandwich box* (something like that) and they got a genuine robo sandwich worth a couple buds. How do we know it won't be better for this? Same thing go with the fire proof secret diary.

This is possibly going to be a Noise Maker promo as it is a "soundtrack box". I'm not sure if it will make it the same as the sandvich though.

The only thing that is similar between this and the sandvich is that they are both boxes. The origins are completely different making it incomparable.

bmoc is in the current range of 18-20, so i think the current price is fine.

There is a current suggestion to lower BMOCs into this range however a lot of people are linking to trades that are more than 20 keys. The proof of 18 keys was back when people were racing to unbox as much as possible to get a new unusual. Now if they wait you can buy a BMOC at 19 keys and sell for 23 keys without much hassle. Also some of the BMOC offers were to add sweets with it.

Everyone already has this item knows it is not worth much, this community is one example: http://steamcommunity.com/groups/soundtrackboxhoarders. Owners wanting to control the market price. One bud is currently ~ 30 USD while the CD in which this item come from is ~ 17 USD. If price really get to 1bud I'll buy some 20 CDs, last I'll be paying 0.65 USD per key.

Wildline, by that logic, in 2 years, these would be worth a lot. That doesn't mean we should raise the price now because "in x years, these will be worth xxxbuds"

Also, when buds first came out, nobody bought them for 26keys each.

Why are people paying so much for buds NOW? Because they are one of the first promo items in the game, they look cool AND people like them. It's all about supply and demand.

Buds are of another time. In that time, trades in TF2 aren't were they are now. Now everyone is looking for profit and buying bulk os items, the Genuine Robot Chicken Hat is a proof of how a tentative of get a lot of profit can result in fail, if this hat became tradable it will worth like ~2ref (and there are more Max than G.R.C.H.)

I sold mine for about 1.5 buds worth of shit. You can easily sell for a bud.
