Take a look at the comments section, unhide some posts. One guy offered .6, another did 1 ref. I doubt he got more than the 1 ref out of it.

Within an hour that guy committed to buying it. This is at like 2 in the morning pacific time, hardly anybody is playing tf2 right now, I'm only up with insomnia. Pretty fast.

Did not notice the lvl 42, but then again, I don't know any collectors that want dirty hats with levles. They usually want craft numbers and vintage hats, maybe regular items if they use them and there is no vintage or craft numbered version available. For example, I have a lvl 96 Crone Dome, and I told the only lvl 96 collector I know about it. He couldn't give 2 shits about it. Specifically with lvl 42 items, Ford Prefect, the collector of lvl 42 stuff, doesn't pay above sheet for any of it unless it's vintage or unusual.

Doesn't seem to be the best idea to try and raise the price of something that you are actively selling. Especially if you link to your own trade.

Having done a quick search, there are buyouts out there (not just yours) of 2 rec, and they are not sold. However in the same breath there are many sellers unwilling to part with their uncraft modest for less than a ref.

Staying neutral I think.

Actually just sold it to someone else in a really weird trade. At first he was trying to just give me a dirty boom bringer, I insisted he take a craft hat and some stuff with it, and then he threw a dirty bonedolier on top of it :S

Price increase to include a range makes sense

Clean Modest often goes for >1.66ref, and if dirty is worth ~50% of clean.....

Bought one for a s.liberty valued at 1-1.3 ref.

The owner was very fast to sell it to me, even though I was paying in stranges.

Oddly I have the same problem with this guy's afKNIFESTORM, but to be fair; he is a knifestorm. You probably don't want to mess with that.

well my trade was up for half an hour, before I found a buyer, who bought it for 0,44. Trade was up for 0,66

that's your fault for selling to a guy who was asking .44 and being impatient enough to take it after only a half hour.

I had someone reserve it within an hour of putting up my trade, and this was at 2 a.m. pacific time...

And I ended up selling my modest for over a ref...

I feel that all-class uncraftables should be worth more, simply because of logical practicality of an all-class hat's usefullness.

I'm saying that sellers are willing to sell for .66, so .66-1 ref is inaccurate

But people sold it for 1 ref and I sold mine for over a ref... yeah, people are willing to sell for .66, but some people are willing to pay more, thus the range...

i have to say. that when i was doing my suggestion for the clean one i found this range to be true for the uncraft one
