If I want to buy it for 2 keys I'd have a ton of people adding me. Looking at the price history for this, it's kinda funny. I guess you can find a few trades to back up all sorts of prices.

Also, i'm not sure that guy ever bought a strange YER for 2 keys. He doesn't have a strange YER in his inventory, and he never responded to that guys last messages. Also, those messages are a few days old.

What I'm more concerned about is he doesn't even know what class it's for. Who offers not knowing what they're buying?

A different person offered 2 keys on that trade after you posted the link. People are probably getting confused about which one you're referring to.

Haven't had a problem selling YERs for 2 keys

Strange for an OP poly that hasnt been in a crate for a long time... 2 keys is rather easy from my experience.

I wouldn't say these are really easy to sell for 2 keys, but they do sell, slowly, because, like you said, the YER is popular and the supply is low (as stats show)

I have some, and maybe my thinking is similar to many other sellers: I'm simply never going to sell this item for less than 2 keys. I know they do sell at that price, slowly but steadily. So cutting my price would just be dumb when I know that demand is strong and supply is slowing falling.

As a little bit of proof that some owners are genuinely unwilling to sell, you can see my trade, where I've turned down an offer of 5 ref yesterday (the buyer eventually got one somewhere else - I don't know what he paid, but I assume it was less than 2 keys)

Thats only one though. All your 5 links above didn't prove anything. You need to show much more proof at 1.5 keys to warrant a price decrease.

A quick search in outpost shows that there are multitudes of eternal rewards for sale for 2 keys each. Only a select few have actually sold at that price. It even took a couple days before I came along and bought that YER. Almost no one is willing to pay 2 keys for these.

Downvote, the current range covers the new fixed price why change? range > fixed in my opinion

If the upper end of a range is no longer accurate, it should be changed.

Otherwise we should just range every item 0.01-10000buds

Ok they may be not sold easily for 2 keys. But I'm sure you can sell plenty of them for 5 ref or 4.66. So it would be better to lower the range and not to remove it completely.

buyers at outpost are usually lowballing and sellers are overpriced... but right now... sellers are at upper cost(2 keys) and buyers are at lower cost(4 ref) so i dont think it needs an update.. range is good because it isnt very wide (just 0,5 key)... but of course there is an seller for 4 ref http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/6356335 and sold ones for 2 keys as well http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/5611027

If you're going to suggest a solid price, I recommend using refined instead of keys. I prefer ranges though, they make for a more realistic price.

I've sold 3 YER's today at the price of 5.00 refined. Even if you may not be able to sell at 2 keys, you can easily do it for 5.00 refined, if not defiantly 4.66. Besides, it needs a range. To me this is an easy downvote.

It was maybe 2 keys when 2 keys were 5 ref. It's always been around 4-5 ref, but 2 keys now mean anything from 5.33 to 5.66 ref. When I sold these a few weeks ago, it was 4 ref or nobody would go for it.

Not really. I did find one for 1.5 but it took quite a while. Everyone is selling and buying for 2 keys

the first link shows a sale at 2 keys... the 4th link shows a buyer at 4 ref not bought. current range is fine... on outpost if you post a fair price and are buying something at that price then you can get it really fast, if you post a low offer it takes a lot of time. the 4 ref buyer hasnt bought yet meaning thats too low.

Sold 2 in the past days for around ~1 key 2 ref. I think it should be ~1.8 keys or 4.66-5ref.

well thats around the middle of the current range, and people are buying/selling at the current range, I'll try to find some evidence to support my comments so far I've only used the evidence given in this trade. OK, I found plenty of evidence for over 1.5 keys, see my other comment for info on what I found as evidence of sold ones.

I didnt get all of the links of the trades that sold at over 1.5 keys, I only got some of the ones still open. the other suggestion is way better. 1 key + 2 ref would be about 4.66 which is in the other ranges range. (4-5 ref)
