I was surprised, but these really are getting offers as good as if not better than Burning gets. My guess is it's because there are only 2 unsold Scorching ones on the market compared to 8 Burning ones.
Scorching also seems to be particularly popular on Scout hats since it's so attention-getting and goes well with lime-painted miscs.
This could just be a temporary price, but the current one is 2 months old and the offers the Scorching ones are getting speak for themselves. May get adjusted once/if more of them enter the market.
Oh, I also think a 1 bud range is a bit much.
I just bought one last week for 5+ in unusual and promos, the sellers wouldnt take any less. I can agree with this price.
You have my dream hat grrrrrrr. I paid 5+ for the burning so they are about the same. I just want lime flames for my lime outfit.
And it wasn't easy to get! I know what you meant about the sellers not wanting to sell. I was dealing with the same people :P I could have easily got burning but I agree that scorching looks better on scout, as well as on the whoopee.
Varren why you make me pay more? And yes i will attest that there are 2 on the market both in the hands of people who are not going to sell I have spent the past few days trying to get a low tier scorching hat, Gave up after getting a metric shit ton of " just looking for offers" and bought The burning version from varren, who takes decent offers.
Both the schorching whoopee and the tribily are stuck in the hands of people who are really just taking offers.
Im hoping to take one of those 2 off the market with my burning one but i doubt it. I begrudgingly Upvote you
The fact that you're willing to 1:1 with a scorching whoopee is all the proof I need for my claim that demand heavily outweighs supply for the Scorching Whoopee. Sorry, it's nothing personal.
I guess you're not the only one whose dream hat is a Scorching Whoopee Cap. There are actually 3 more Scorching ones than Burning ones in existence, but it seems everyone that got one decided to keep it.
Yup, its the same with the Trilbly, One has a b/o of 6 and 200 c/o's one want to upgrade only and the third well the third guy turned down my offer of a burning whoopee because " I don't really want to sell it, but for the right price, anything is for sale. , his trade is here to tell people there is one on the market, for the right pricenot for the first person who can offer what its worth" And i gave up on offering more because he hid my post without any debate.
If this needs any more evidence, I have added every owner of this hat and Iv been declined a 1 to 1 with my burning 2 more times Scorching is just a better effect on scout.
My 1 to 1 has also be declined by the 1 of the 2 on outpost . I asked how much to add and was told to offer.
Im adding 1 more reply, This hat is 100% over burning I got turned down buy 8 of the 14 or so people who own this and are still active on steam, and not total asses. And I added 2 black paints to my burning for it I think if we looked at all of the scout hats we would see a trend of scorching > burning.
That's rather interesting, could warrant some further investigation across other hats. Not sure how well it'd hold up with higher tier hats, especially with burning Tossle being practically a status symbol to some people.
Anyway, it's clearly been demonstrated that this can easily be brought up to burning's value right now.
