There are people that can get them for .11, just as people can sell them for .33. The middleground of .22 is already implied. Messing with this will just make people submit a new suggestion every time they buy for a scrap or sell for 3, etc
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/5809033
did you look at the links? theres tons of people with unbought duels at .22 each. .11 is not a good price
Did you look at all the links? You're ignoring people successfully buying at .11. There's too many of those to ignore .11 in the range. That tycoon guy even says .33 is a small fraction (EVERYONE wants to SELL for .33) and the same can be said for .11 (EVERYONE wants to BUY for .11).
This is why the current range is "perfect", as that dude bartering weirds said.
the "EVERYONE buys for 1 scrap" is bs. EVERYONE sells for .33 and alot of them DO sell for .33
EVERYONE buy for .22 but they seldom get trade requests
noon ever sells for .11 unless theyre completely desperate or dont know the price
Everyone WANTS to buy, you missed the part where I said wants to. Just like everyone WANTS to sell for .33. Tons of people try to sell for .33. However you can't ignore people that get them for .11. It's in the drop system, it drops fairly often.
This suggestion ignores people buying for .11 and it happens more often than you think. It's also ignoring people who buy for a scrap and a weapon or .15, which is also common.
.15 is rare, considering ive tried buying duels for .15 on two seperate trades and only got 3 duels out of it in the timespan of 2-3 weeks.
So it's still valid as the trade happened at that price.
Finding trades selling the minigame at .33 is very easy. People do buy at .22 and .11 too though.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/5989565: Bought 137 for .22 or less.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/6033224: Bought 1? (not recent)
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/4528804: Bought lots for .16 and less. (SO OLD)
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/1758764: Bought lots for some crates? (Older!)
It's not easy to find at .11, but if you put up a post buying for .11, you'd get some. .22 is more popular, easily gettable. If you're buying for .33, you're gonna get a shitload. I think the current range is fine, you can still find them at .11 if you aren't lazy.
trades for salvaged crates happen for low tier stranges every day. doesnt make the price .33
current rage is perfect
dont think so. i think they go for more then one scrap. i was able to sell on used for one scrap easy. edit: (had 2 uses left)
I've got 110 duel wins, bought quite a few of these. Paid .22 for most of them and .33 for a small fraction of them. Finding them for .11 is very rare tbh, I'd have to give this an upvote, unless I'm shown a lot of proof of .11 sales.
ALSO, considering you're buying these and you actually want to raise the minimum on them is a lot of honesty on your part. I mean, normally you'd want to make the price lower because you buy them a lot, but you're doing the opposite. All the reason you deserve my upvote.
Sometimes i even make the prices of my own unusuals worth less
Serious respect.
I buy these at about one Scrap Metal each regularly, for personal use, not for resale.
This is an item that can also be obtained through the drop system, not making this a very expensive item, not to mention the majority of the players hardly duel at all.
define "regularly"... i can barely find someone willing to sell for .11, and i have bought over 300 of these things.
Enough to duel whenever I am playing. Sometimes adding any random unique weapon helps if I am having any trouble with sales.
trade history? i seriously doubt this
To be fair, (http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/5683271) just because you are willing to pay a bit higher than you have to in order to buy quickly it doesn't follow that everyone else should pay that much.
current price is fine. isnt that hard to buy for 1 scrap at all
I see many people collectin them for .11 each and since the range is .11-.33 there is no need to change the price for it as .22 is already integrated with .11-.33 but saying that .11 is impossible is innacurate in my eyes.
Don't think he means .11 is impossible
We all know it happens. But the question is it it common enough to be in range.
Quick sellers are usually never considered in the range cause doesn't happen often enough to be custom with a lot of others.
Common range is much better to list then what is possible if you wait long enough for the planets to align.
Well yes, but no. It doesn't take too long to find some people that don't duel(nobody really duels too often unless they are trying to get high on the leader board) and buy all of their duel games off of them for a scrap each.. Go Try It. ;)
I would say buying for .11-.15 (scrap and a weapon) is as common as selling for a rec. Usually have to sit around and wait for both to happen as well.
Not sure what your point is ^^^^^^
Just backing you up, man. People say that .11 hardly ever happens, the same can be said for the other end of the range. There's also scrap+weapon sales (.15) that this suggestion ignores. .22 is the middle ground and that's fine with me (I am the one behind the current suggestion, afterall).
Ah yea that seems about right :)
it is NOT common. How many of these do you buy?
Disagree - 0.11-0.33 seems reasonable as it makes the median value 0.22, which is what most are selling at.
So because you bought a lot of them you're trying to increase their price?
That's the absolute definition of artificial inflation...
Current price is fine already. Hard to sell for 2 scrap and a rec is even harder
hard to sell for 2 scrap? Theres TONS of people on op wanting to buy for 2 scrap! in bulk!
I suggest: 1 use = 1 weapon; 2 uses = 1 scrap; 3 uses = 1 scrap and 1 weapon and so on.
The current price is fine.
the price triples. its not fine.
Weird how nobody is giving proof of 1 scrap sales when they say they're not supporting this suggestion.
I have purchased at least 20 dueling games for a scrap each.
Around 15 of them are still in my backpack.
