Bought another 15 just now @ 1.33. (All from SELL threads, not from my BUY thread)
The hype for mvm has gone down again... 2 for a key is still what most people are doing (or 1.33 ref each)
Uh...you bought a lot for 1.40 ref and also bought them two for a key. People still buy keys for 2.77 ref which would be 1.40 ref each. That mans you still paid middle of the current range for some of them, and also higher than your suggestion.
Look at the dates. Those are all 2+ days ago.
Yes, look at when the last price was accepted 5 days ago. Seems you were just fine paying the current range during then and now. 2 days is not that long ago for it to be ruled out.
I am fine paying whatever the current price is. I sell for $. I pass along my extra cost to my buyers and make the same profit regardless of what I pay. I am just reporting the ACTUAL prices. Since my last update, I've bought yet another 12 @ 1.33.
I've bought/sold more ToD Tickets than most have ever even laid eyes on and know the market better than probably anybody in the game.
So what I am hearing is that you can still find buyers paying more? I guess that means the current range is just fine.
No, you can't read.
I buy for metal. I sell for cash. My cash price fluctuates based on what I have to pay in metal.
People selling for 1.44 aren't selling very well at all. I watch their posts and they might sell 1 an hour if lucky. Most are buying for 1.22-1.33. Most are selling for 1.33-1.44. It's hard to buy for 1.22 and hard to sell for 1.44. 1.33 is the sweet spot on both ranges and, therefore, the proper price.
Maybe you don't understand. The standard price for refined metal according to backpack.tf is $.45 according to your trade: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/5595771 you are selling the tickets for $.76 which is equal to 1.66 ref. You have a guy who added you twice now who has bought 20 tickets for $15.60. Now doing some math $15.60/20 tickets equals $.78 per ticket. Current range is fine.
Not my fault backpack.tf is wrong on the price of refined. It's actually around $.48.
But anyways, people pay my prices for the connivance. Not to mention I sell cheaper than anybody else and have a trusted reputation. When tickets were 1.22, I sold for $.74. When tickets were 1.55 a week ago, I sold for $.80. When I was paying 1.44, I sold for $.78. When I paid 2/key, I was selling for $.77. I now sell for $.76 and buying @ 1.33. And yes, I'm going to make profit regardless so deal with it. Once prices go down to 1.22, my prices will go back down as well.
But this isn't about me. This is about the actual metal-ticket market. Don't try to derail this into the cash-ticket market.
As I said, I don't care what the prices are. It doesn't benefit me if the price is lowered to 1.33. Whatever backpack.tf or spreadsheet has to say on the prices has zero bearings on my business in regards to tickets. I'm just here providing an accurate appraisal of the ticket market from me, the largest buyer of tickets in the game.
You said it yourself, you're profiting regardless. In order for this price to be right refined metal would have to be worth $.57 because $.76/$.57 is 1.33 ref. Your boasting about being the biggest buyer doesn't really matter to me.
Posting here since I can't reply to the other thread. - Directed at Baloo.
I don't think you understand how trading for profit works. But, regardless, this has NOTHING to do with cash trading. The price is USD has no bearing on the price in metal. Get back on topic.
If you have no sufficient evidence to show that tickets are being sold, at a decent rate, for 1.44 then please stop commenting. I have provided TONS of evidence to the contrary and that 1.33 is the price in which buyers and sellers come to an agreement on. (I've bought 7 more since my last update)
I didn't say I was the largest buyer of tickets to impress you. I said that because my opinion on the price of tickets does bear more weight than your average trader.
People are still buying for 1.33 ref in mass amounts, but they aren't playing endless rounds of MvM, and they aren't trading them for cash, so why buy for 1.33 ref? According to this suggestion they would either be idiots, or they are nice people that plan on buying and selling over and over again for 1.33 ref. The real reason: there are still people out there paying 1.44 ref for it, and you, yourself, were paying more than 1.33 ref for it, as well. 2 days ago is not a long enough time to state it as being irrelevant .

That's funny, you picked 2 people that haven't even sold any tickets according to their posts. 2 random low quantity traders is not evidence.
You will currently find around 5-10 people selling at 2/key and a couple selling 1-2 tickets at 1.33 or lower. Of course, you won't find any selling 3 or more tickets for 1.33 because I bought all of those just now. Which reminds me, I just bought another 5 tickets. I keep getting more evidence as the day goes!
I feel no reason to keep arguing with you about this. It obvious you have your opinion and I have mine. I will see whether admins decide if this is correct or not.
I'm not giving my opinion. I am providing facts. My opinion is that they shouldn't even be 1.33, but that doesn't matter.
I agree with you tl_34_96, lets not bring any other currency into this suggestion shall we? You can easily get one at 1.33ref. Yes 2 tickets for 1 key is still in the market but the average successful exchange of trade is 1.33ref in my opinion.
If i'm not wrong the glitch has been fixed & Mvm would be back to a pain in the back to work with people who would not co-operate. If that happens, I can easily wait a few hour to get even some tickets at 1ref, before I whack those bots again.
All in all, it's a upvote for me:)! Good luck with your suggestion
