This is a common drop, the weapon is not really special, and people sell them on Outpost at 1-2 scrap, sticking to old prices, and no buyers. Also, if we talk about game tactics, the stock sapper is way better.

Easily 1:1 this? Do you have any proof? If anything, it should be 0.05-.0.11. It is just a drop weapon but everyone does seem to want at least one in their inventory.

You can sell any weapon for a scrap. Doesn't mean that scrap is worth one weapon.

All weapons could be sold for a scrap, but that doesn't make the value a scrap. The Black Box can be sold for a scrap, but it doesn't mean it's worth a scrap. Making old weapons one scrap would make no sense, smelting two weapons makes a scrap, not smelting one weapon to make a scrap.
