The unique one is priced higher because you need a tag for it. And if you find enough trades that went for 0.33 than this could be the upper range, but not a set price. Well downvote from me, close this suggestion before it's too late. ;)
For the unique one you need a desc. tag or a name tag. The tags might be priced high, but for the strange you need a key, wich is priced high also.
Name tag/Desc. tag €0.79
Key €1.99
So, I think a strange shovel should be at least worth as much as an unique shovel.
lol , you need a key to get ANY strange but that doesnt mean its worth that.. ._.
unique just way rarer. that's why they cost more
Most stock melees on low in valuble for most classes plus nobody likes to use stock shovel....
Shovel is one of the worst weapons, apart from the whip & the equalizer at full health, there is no other downsides to any other Soldier melee.

Most people buy them for 0.11, but this are only these "I-buy-all-of-your-unwanted-stranges-for-a-scrap-each"-traders.
That's not proof. That's an assumption. If you want your price accepted, you better show some links from outpost, otherwise you will get bashed by everyone and your suggestion will be denied.
Like Woifi said, you need a tag for stock weapons to be sold, hence why they're so expensive. The shovel is definitly the worst Soldier melee, the Escape Plan and the Market Gardener are direct upgrades, the whip has atleast some utility and the Equalizer... Well, maybe the shovel isn't the absolute worst.
An easy downvote for me. I am pretty sure if I added a trade now on outpost buying at 2 scrap each I would get a lot of adds. And I am also pretty sure that the quickbuyers get business with these too at 1 scrap each .... Finally, price changes are not made on what 'should be' or whatever, they are supposed to be indicative of the current market action.
Unique shovel requires someone to use a name or description tag and then remove it to keep its name, which costs a minimum of 1 refined.
Strange Shovels are unboxed, and are in huge supply, they're worth fuck-all because stock melee generally sucks compared to other unlocks i.e. Escape Plan. It's pretty much like the S. Equalizer, who in their right mind would buy it
