tf2finance,com says 26.75, meaning there is still some number moving at less than 27
i think the current range is fine
I concur, also just make it a link: http://tf2finance.com
I think this is going to change soon based on the ridiculous amount of sales at the 27-28 range and a tiny amount at 26. OF course you posted this 3 days ago so 'm sure you are well awar.
UPDATE!!! Buds have reach over the price of 27 keys according to http://tf2finance.com
Just checked now right as I am posting this! Screenshot to prove it: http://i.imgur.com/bTDPL.png
Yep. 27.13.
This doesn't mean they can't be had for less. However I personally can't comment on it since I haven't been trading keys --> buds
Yes it doesn't mean that you cannot get them for less, but it does mean that the average price of buds is now above being between 26-27 keys. The point of a pricing guide such as backpack.tf is to show what the average successful buying and selling prices are, and to list that as the current average price of the item. Many items can be bought or sold for more, and when that happens; the pricing guide is changed by the observant traders.
Upvote. Sold mine for 28 keys within a day of posting it but I might have gotten lucky.
Bought from him for 27 keys. Cleanest buds I could find at 27 keys.
Was trying no buy one for 26 on trade server, no one was selling at that price.(tried for 2-3 days).
Managed to buy for 27.
Bought at 26 keys in around an hour, just need some patience, wasn't fun though. I say 27 is a good price.
Selling consistently at 27 keys. Support.

They're still out there.
Downvoted.
2 Weeks ago, nice.
You dumb? that trade was bumped 45 mins ago
Are you dumb? Look at his notes, he posted this trade 2 weeks ago.
Edit: Okay "smart" guy, when did this trade started? http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/6131353
If you don't know what your saying, don't say anything. Easy.
if he bumped it NOW, it means he wants the same trade.
lol he doesn't even have the earbud in his backback anymore, what are you trying to get at?
Why on earth would you think he closed the earbud off his trade? Do you not see the earbuds darker then the other 2 items? Learn how to use outpost before you comment.
Are you an idiot? He is obviously bumping the trade because he wants to sell his Bill's and #40 crate. Seriously... some people just need to look at the mirror...
Here's a helpful tip instead of a bashing: if you click on the item itself on the trade, it shows Outpost's history of the item. If you click on those earbuds on that trade, it shows they've already been traded to 6 other users, so it's likely they sold a while ago.
theres such thing as autobump
I've bought three buds in the last couple days. One was for 26 keys, one for 25, and one for 26.5, but it was made up of mostly metal. I can prove that if you don't believe me.
Screenshots are always nice. I want to know if I could still buy buds below 27 keys.
http://imgur.com/lobqd - 2 days ago (26 keys +1 ref)
Oh thank god, thank you :)
What a shame, the key camp has subsided.
Sold a couple more today for 27 after trade was only up for half a day.
This will be true in a few days.
You just acquired 2 buds in your backpack and you're selling buds for 27 keys on OP.
Having a range is more accurate.
You can buy a pair of buds for 26 keys still.
Where are u buying these 26 key buds? Not outpost unless u r buying gifted buds. Not on trade servers or at least any that I frequent. I didn't see any on sourceop.
Why is a fake lower end number more accurate???
If I use your reasoning then if anything we should be raising the price to 27-28 keys as more have sold on outpost today for 28 than 26.
From what I have seen a couple of random low ball sales doesn't influence the voting. If 12 pages of sales on outpost are for 27++ and 0 for less and the fact that key prices for $$ have drpped by
Just because I bought promos items and have them in my backpack doesn't mean I am inflating trot prices. And if I can sell them for 27 keys one ref then the price need an update. Also, maybe you should look At the time this suggestion was made because it was two days ago.
Just because one is having a currency (e.g. Keys/Buds) and raising the price of it doesn't mean he's trying to manipulate them. It's a currency.
On outpost I couldn't find any buds for 26 keys or less that were not sold out or were gifted. Of the ones that were sold out many were sold many days or weeks ago.
There were a couple of gifted buds which sold for 27 keys.
I looked at 12 pages and checked the sales threads on about 5 per page and everyone seemed to be firm on the price.
There are now MANY asking for 30+ keys.
In terms of $$ keys are dropping. 2 weeks ago couldn't find any available for under $1.33. I was selling easily at $1.35. Now I can't sell one for $1.35. Bud prices remained constant at $33 so keys are dropping. Buds staying the same. This is an easy upvote and I think we may be voting on another increase within the next week.
Buds are still selling for 26-27. Current range was fine, no need to bring it to only 27
I guess you didn't take the time to check outpost, sourceop or trade servers.
First 5 outpost sales threads offering buds for strictly keys. I am ONLY including buds which actually sold or have offers of 27 or more which were declined/accepted. I will also add any sales of keys within the last couple of days which sold for 26 keys or were offered at 26 keys. I will post links here for your reference.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/6319407 - Sold buds for 28 keys
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/6010596 - Asking for 28 but sold for 27
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/5329065 - Asking 28. Was offered 27. Declined
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/6546204 - Asking 28 was offered 27.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/6540205 - Sold 2 for 28 (check the BP of buyer and bud numbers matched 2 of those being sold).
Couldn't find any somewhat recent offers for sale at 26 keys (I wish I did actually) and I didn't find any which were discounted and sold for 26. saw plenty of offers to buy at 26 or 26 and 2 ref etc. but none of those offers were accepted.
I had a trade up on outpost buying buds for 25 keys, 2 days later someone added me selling for 25 keys 1 ref, and we traded. Going to downvote this
You are one lucky dude! I checked the thread but didn't see anyone talking about buds other than the guy who said "28". In fairness I get added all the time without a post on OP.
Did u happen to do some research and see the going rates or are you basing your downvote on 1 random (and exceedingly lucky) buy?
Can you link us to more lucky buys like this? I already upvoted based on the facts but if someone can fortify their downvote I could be swayed the other way.
I just sold a bud for 28 incidentally. Check my BP history to confirm. .
BTW I can take a screen of my BP history from my account if needed.
Lets see what i can do :P
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/6523477 - 26 keys, one guy accepted
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/6391413 - 26 keys, one guy accepted *edit* they were also lvl 42 buds
They are definitely still out there if people are willing to wait a day or 2.
I agree there are some good deals just like there is on every TF2item. There will always be quicksellers. But go to outpost and look at how many more are sold at even 28. My point is we are trying to reflect what the price is on the open market. What are people paying on average for the item? 26 keys is uncommon. 27 is very common and trending towards 28.
With that said it would only make sense based on a pretty large sampling to downvote this and go to 27-28 since it reflects what buds are trading at. Throw out the 26, 29 and 30+ and take the average.
Ok I think I'm beating a dead horse so I will shut up and go play some mvm!
Solf my third and last bud for 27 within a day of posting the three. This is like the easiest change ever. Not sure why an admin hasn't accepted it yet,
Its easy to get 28 now believe it or not. I don't sell for keys normally but I wanted to see if people were really selling as may as it seems for 28. Took me a little less than 9 hours.
I bought a set at 26 two days ago within a few minutes of posting up on outpost. 26-27 seems pretty good.
Been trying to buy at 26 for 5 days now. Practically impossible.
Update, just bought a bud for 27 keys. Upvoted.
i boguht 2 for 25 keys each an hour ago
Really? That's amazing!
I found ur buy thread and there was an offer for 27 3 days ago and your offer had been up for almost a week.
A screen capture or a link would be awesome.
Thanks
upvoted. ridiculously hard to buy at 26 most people even want 28
cant get them for 26
i dont believe that any item should get an update in keys but in ref the tf2 currencie that most of you are willing to forget isn`t keys but metal so the prices on buds shoold be less than it was in keys since keys had an 0.11 rise last week..downvoted all the way!
lol what are you doing.
if the buds rise and the keys roll down then there is going to be hard for all of as to sell anything in the market so i am not supporting this suggestion at all i bealive buds should range 20-21 keys top to make an easier and faster trade for us all once again downvoted
Keys were never at any point 20 keys. Just because something is easier for you to buy doesn't mean it should be that cheap.
Your spelling and grammar skills are so bad that I have no idea what you're trying to say.
Why isn't this accepted yet?
Just bought one within 5 minutes of my trade being open for 27 keys.
Seems legit and did not feel like waiting around for one @ 26 keys
Upvote
i jsut posted my buds and sold for 28 keys in like 2 mins -.-
Screenshot of the transaction? You can take it from your View Inventory History link that is located when you click on your inventory in Steam. This would be more solid proof than just saying you sold it for 28 keys.
most of the key trades ive done were today so history doesn't say anything but i got 60 keys now, i had 32 before :P
The history will definitely say something. It lists every single transaction that takes place in your backpack. Here is where you can find it if you weren't sure: http://i.imgur.com/NKz2V.png

Yep, checks out. You lucky man, thank you.
