It may be true, but many people are too stubborn to lower the price. Regardless of the price now, it's going to be price fixed up even more during Christmas.

Are you sure? The overwhelming supply during Christmas would make it go the other way round. People would want the new Christmas items. I'd say they will continue to crash.

also there will be new things most likely just like this years halloween, which will get all the attention.
