You really think tf2op offers are the real deal? FYI I sold mine for $200 about 3 weeks ago, which is more then 6 buds. tf2op is for lowallers to lowball there ass off. hehe no wonder why most unusual prices here are WRONG... this site should be renamed to " lowballontf2op.com" DOWNVOTE!

You just invalidated your own argument :P. 3 weeks ago, Halloween, of course they were worth more at the time. It isn't Halloween anymore so of course the value will drop. I appreciate you giving me a time, otherwise I would have been concerned, but, considering that you sold it at the peak of demand, your comment has encouraged me.

You use caps too much. The fact that they are no longer unboxable has no bearing at all. Take a look at festives, once they stopped dropping after Christmas, what happened? Prices crashed, massively. Only recently because of Christmas approaching, is the value going up again.

1. I'm not 12, unfortunately for you. The fact that I have an Unusual hat, which I traded for, sort of defeats the purpose of your second point. Either way, this conversation is no longer relevant to the topic at hand.

Last suggestion was based on the most recent trade. Even if halloween may have shook things up, I think something more substantial should be used if we're going to lower it.

You appear to have traded your lantern hound dog. The only one on the market that can be noted to have previously traded since halloween. By chance do you care to share what you traded it for?

After a large amount of time spent, I managed to sell it for a planets pillar, which generally goes for around 3 buds as I've seen. Had I waited even longer (more than 3 weeks) then I may have got a better deal, but considering that in the space of 3 weeks, neither I, nor any of the other people owning these hats received any substantial offers on them, I can ascertain that they aren't exactly wanted.

Looking at tf2pricecheck, this is consistent with mentioned trades that occured prior to halloween as well. It's sounding like the 6 bud trade was an exception, and not an indication of the market as a whole.
