There are at least 4 Misty Skulls and those aren't worth as much in most cases I see than Knifestorm. I've checked every day if the other Knifestorm Degroot was for sale and it has never been put up for trade, so there is only one for sale.

scorching gets 9-10 area, dont see this as equal to scorching sorry,.

There are 3 Scorching, only 2 of these, all other higher tier Knifestorms go for the same or more than sunbeams/scorching.. and I don't understand how you mean it isn't equal since I sold mine already for the same or more as it.

thats for the moment, effect isnt settled in yet, scorching and beams have known values, sorry but i stand with my opinion, if im wrong witch could be, than i wish u luck :)

Well thank you, I mean there is no need to be sorry or wish me luck as I don't have it anymore and the price suggestion does not benefit me, but I would want it to be placed fairly and for what it had sold for, and similar to all other Unusuals w/ Knifestorm that have sold for similar.. especially considering the fact these are very rare unlike Scorching and Beams which can be unboxed any time, these could only be boxed on Halloween and there is only 2, but only 1 that is for sale and has been for sale.

i agree, but i do see 13th hour going alot higher than this, imo 7-9 would be a fair price for this not higher than scorching :P

I've been trying to keep new effect prices to be based on recent trades lately, since basing on offers unless close to buyouts can result in premature pricing. Still, some slip through, so I'd recommend checking on the accepted suggestions to make sure they went through based on solid figures.

I'm skeptical about working in tiers when it comes to halloween effects right now. Whether it's just a storm of speculators or rarity in some cases or something else entirely, a lot are getting offers and trading at areas outside where their supposed tier should be. Regardless of the reason, prices should be based on the current state of the market. Tier reasoning can make nice support beside other facts or when applied to very similar effects, but alone shouldn't prove or discredit a suggestion.

All that aside. Might you be able to supplement this sale with some other offers or past sales? It'd be good to know whether this just pushed past some other offers that were being made or if it was well above them.

Well, I can't give you other offers because I had traded for it basically when the person had gotten it and wanted to get rid of it fast, he told me to make an off so I did and the offer at the time was about 8 buds in Unusuals or so.. so I got it cheaper because it had just come out and I had some research of prices been set on here from other Knifestorm sales, and I saw they were going for beams/scorching prices.

Then, when I had it, I couldn't get offers due to me being banned for a week because of "relisting", so I had to make offers to other people. But, on the Misty Skull Degroots, which there is 4 of I believe and are worth less than the Knifestorm, someone offered a Knifestorm Tyrant .. meaning people offered on something worth less than Knifestorm, a Knifestorm Tyrant... and that person ended up trading that away to someone else for a Smoking TC, Burning Fro, and Orbiting Fire Hustler Hallmark (http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/6244053)

So I can't give you offers since I wasn't able to get any and the person I got it from, I got it quickly from them, but there is an example of the Misty Skull (worth LESS) getting offers that high.

And , again, ALL of the ones I just posted links to were sold and then that price was suggested and accepted. So the others had sold for beam/scorching price or more. As did this, but in items.
