Because even if what you say is true, one idiot overpaying for a hat doesn't mean that's what the price should be set at. If I found someone offering me 50 buds on a nuts and bolts cancer does that mean I should suggest that be the price?

high end seems a bit high, would like if it was lowered but still offers seem legit.
