When we negotiated I shaved off one key for my offer, so that 8 ref was actually 5.33 ref. He was cool with it, understanding I was short on money.

So you settled at something between the two numbers?

What was this magical price? Perhaps if you actually stated it, then it might create a reasonable grounds for an upvote.

Another good idea would be to get the trade history and take a screenshot and put it on imgur. I'll have a hunt around Outpost for past sells and current offers etc. and report back later with an upvote/downvote decision.

Well, I have proof at what I bought at, I just posted it. As far as I know, my trade was by far the only recent trade involving this hat. Most trades are old and out of date (those are usually asking for 2.5)

That makes sense.

I'd still like to see what other people have been paying before going to agree with a price suggested by one person based on what he/she paid for it. :-)

Understandble, though I searched myself, and it was hard as hell. The one guy who owned it before the seller of whom I bought it from never created a trade regarding the hat, so I'd have to ask him or the person I bought it from.
