Note that in the third link, a person who did not have 12 keys offered it. I looked at his inventory and I think it will be quite some time until he will acquire them.
Link 2 got offered 12 keys when he collects, and has a white bills and 4 keys.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/6446808 offered 9 keys+7.55, so ~12
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/6430722 offered 32 ref, he values keys at 2.66, so 12 keys
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/6328056 offered 12 keys 3 days ago
I think the current range is fine.
You have one link to support your claim which also falls in the 11-12 keys current range. Someone offered 12 keys in the second link, and the third link hasn't been up long
Downvote for bad proof
I agree with Zuparoeban, the price is unstable. Not voting because unsure
i recently sold mine for 13 keys on outpost, and then bought a new one for 9 keys. the value is very unstable in my opinion and i think the current price range is better than this one (links: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/6561676 http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/6561812 )
even though this is just one example
A sort-of visible post I saw on tf2trade today: http://www.reddit.com/r/tf2trade/comments/13vdyt/h_2_x_salvaged_crates_40_w_11_keys_each/
Highest offer was 10.5 keys
Downvote. 11 is still in the current range. I've had offers of 12 and 13 each on mine. Easy downvote. And before all the idiots come in here and say "well herp derp you have a lot of these." Yes I do. Because I know they will be going up a lot in price down the road. And before all the other idiots come in here saying "herp derp I buy these for 10 keys herp derp." Yeah sometimes you will have the occasional person not knowing the value or quickselling, but that doesn't determine the price. The price is determined by what they NORMALLY go for.
Do you think that they might have already gone up "a lot" in price, though? I remember when they were trading for 6 or 7 keys in August/September, and it was tough to trade them for that price. But, at some point, everyone sort-of agreed on the 'rarity' of the crate & the items contained within, when it jumped from 7 keys to 14 keys in a matter of weeks.
I guess what I'm getting at, is that those assuming they're going from 12 keys to whatever could be mistaken, when the price has already jumped from 6 to 12.
They fell off a bit because of the halloween special, but there's no reason for them not to be on the increase again when the 50 drops.
2 links selling for 11 keys. Automatically makes it 11 keys, disregarding all the 12+ sales/trades going on.
