Proof seems legit, people wanting to sell for 1 bud and sometimes a few keys because paint...upvoted for now.

I remember the old time when i sell them in bulk for 8 keys each.*sniff*.

You did this on the last price suggestion as well. This hat has always been rare as hell and never has gone for as little as 8 keys.

Again, there's a difference between the clean, craftable version and the more common, lower in price, and likely sold in 'bulk' uncraftable version.

Actually when these items were first made clean due to the steam trade bug, they went for a bills each, but those prices are LONG gone.

Weren't the Bill's going for 11-12 keys though?

Edit: I guess this was in 2010, I can't really remember, but I think Bill's went for 10-12 keys, then for 6-7 keys, then sort of stuck around 8-10 for a while?

I guess what I'm trying to say is, it's never gone for 8 '2012' keys, just like Earbuds have never gone for 11 '2012' keys either.

If my memory doesn't fail, both the clean version of these guys and Bill's were going for 7 refined soon after that halloween. Keys were worth 1 refined then.

Bill's Hat (unpainted) was 6-7 Keys in November 2010.

Also,

Bill's Hat (unpainted) was 4-5 Keys in August/September 2011.

And,

Black/White Bill's peaked at 11 Keys. (or slightly below that)

Well Steam Trading was added on August 9, 2011.

November 10, 2010 Patch

Undocumented changes - Some untradable Spine-Chilling Skulls and Voodoo Jujus were made tradable.

I think this was the first instance.

EDIT: Actually, the Wiki is plain wrong.

There are signs that these were tradable before that.

I thought the ones bought from the store during the event were uncraftable, and the ones made using the Halloween headgear blueprint were craftable?

I think there's so few because you needed something like the haunted scrap and four refined to craft this thing, back when four refined was a lot. :)

"Uncraftability" was introduced in October 13, 2011 Patch

There is no such thing as uncraftable in 2010.

All Store bought items before that patch should just be "untradable".

But there's three types of Voodoo Juju: craftable & tradable, uncraftable & tradable and craftable & untradable (needing gift wrap). The craftable & tradable must have originated from the halloween headgear recipe, and the uncraftable & tradable from the store purchase, leaving a few from that strange patch note to be craftable & untradable, no?

Edit: screwed it up, fixed it up, going to bed.

I was discussing the "first instance".

In later cases it involves multiple glitches.

Fixed an exploit that allowed untradable items to be traded with Steam trading.

Upvoted. I was lucky enough that someone bought my clean Juju for 1 bud + 4 keys. People are desperately trying to sell them for higher price but nobody wants to buy them.

It's only a matter of time when people start going under 1 bud like quickbuyers are already doing but for now 1 bud seems reasonable.

Upvoted. Although still a rare and desirable hat, the H'ween hype has passed, similar scenario to the BMOC's. 1 bud seems very reasonable, or will be in the very near future.
