By "5 of these hats" I mean effect wise in the price list!

    that second trade

"Selling This very High Tier Sniper Hat With A Very Nice Effect." I LOVE unusual traders...

That sellers trades are literally everything I dont like in tf2 trading, quick buy lowballs and Highballs...

Crap hat with low tier, but well liked effect. 14 is a good low, dont see any 20 keys offers to verify the high end though.

The low tier hats with fetti, nuts, bubbles, planets..sort of amalgamate and the offers are very dependent on the buyer. They need a larger range.

        amalgamate....good word :P

first link, the guy obv doesnt know what hes talking about.

second link, BMOC + sweets isnt around 20 keys... more like a buds.

you can get 16 keys for even a nuts mongolian... this is just rediculious.

there are NONE of these for sale on tf2tp, and only 2 on tf2outpost(your links)

      theres also a p.fetti one on outpost(with a price of 1buds firm)

if anything the price should be put up!

show me someone selling one for 15 keys and i'll beleave you...

The buyouts do not mean anything. I can buy one of those, put it up for 3 buds firm, but it doesn't make the value 3 buds. A BMOC is 17-19 keys (price set recently by voting) so the sweets (might) have a chance at hitting 20 flat. Other than that offers. Have ranged from 10 keys (B/W bills) - 15 keys pure. A price is just a placeholder until someone is willing to pay it.

wow... you sound just like vincent.

          buyouts DEFINATLY matter.

if no ones willing to sell for less then your kinda skrewed arent you?

its not like the market is flooded with these... theres 2 on outpost, none on tradepost... ect.

a BMOC is NOT 17-19 keys... any experianced trader knows it.

and the price was NOT set by voting, it was set by Brad Pitt 6 days ago.

next point... you say buyouts dont matter but factor in lowball offers?!?!

even if no one wants to buy a specific hat at a given point in time, you can always be garenteed lowballs... and lowballs with always be low, no matter what "the price" is.

you sir, dont seem to have a very strong grasp on very basic economic concepts... maybe leave this one to the big boys :>

Thank you for your rude and spiteful comments. I'll be sure to ignore them and carry on. The most recent price was accepted by Vincent and submitted by another user. Feel free to downvote and move on.

            Edit: Here's the bmoc http://backpack.tf/vote/id/50b12f39ba2536355600000c

doesnt surprize me... prolly 8/10 accepted price decreases i see are accepted by him.

also, is that link supposed to prove something to me?

just the other day someone else expressed their dissatisfaction with that pricepoint in the form of a price suggestion and was shot down.

almost seems like someone here wants to keep the price low...

but this isnt even about the current price of a BMOC on this site and how low it is... its about how no ones gnna sell one of these for 14 keys.

              buyouts DEFINATLY matter.

If they were realistic, they'd be partially relevant, but most of the time they aren't, so they're meaningless in establishing an item's value.

if no ones willing to sell for less then your kinda skrewed arent you?

Nope, it means the seller will never be able to close the sale. So they can either continue to stubbornly sit on an awful hat, or sell it for a price that the market will accept.

a BMOC is NOT 17-19 keys... any experianced trader knows it.

Given the volatile nature of the BMOC, you should consider yourself lucky to have that bubble hat valued at 17-19 keys.

This...This I like. Thank you for bringing some logic into the conversation.
