That was rather rude and unnecessary.

Not much to say about this.

While it is true the lower numbers are worth more, that's basically like saying

"LET'S INCLUDE THE DEADLY DUCKLING PRICE RANGE TO INCLUDE CRAFT #1, SO THAT WAY WE CAN AVOID SHARKING."

I see why you would do this, but this is just the common standpoint of most medals. If anyone has a medal worth more than 20 keys, they shouldn't be that dumb anyways.

Not everyone is a pro to trading to know everything. And I am not saying to make this price range, I am suggesting create separate price entries for each range

I'm not sure if this would be possible, but to avoid people doing some very dumb things on their trades, I'm going to propose a better solution:

Instead of having only 1 entry for this item, split the numbers of service medals up into various ranges on the site, each having their own listing on the pricelist, and everyone can suggest prices on them as usual. Some ranges could be:

Medal #'s 1-10

Medal #'s 11-50

Medal #'s 51-100

Medal #'s 101-500

Medal #'s 501-1000

Medal #'s 1001-5000

Medal #'s 5001-etc...

Just brainstorming, but I do not think this suggestion should pass. A 70 key range without explanation on the pricelist would be really confusing to a lot of traders.

You cannot do this.

For the sake of backpack valuation,

only the mid-point of the range is considered in calculations.

For this suggestion, the system takes the range as 45 Keys.

If I had a #8000+ in my backpack then it will be overvalued.

If I had a #20- in my backpack then it will be undervalued.

The average value of medal might not be 45 keys because only 100-, 1000-, 3000- has different price. The distribution is not in fixed intervals.

By the accounting concept of prudence the base price is used by the system. However I do feel that bacpack.tf should give bonus to low number medals.

I am not saying to accept this suggestion as is. I want them to create seprarte entries for each craft range medal. I am aware douches out there will take addvantage of thiss and ask for buds for 10k+ medal which is sad.....but I wanted to start a discussion on this and this was one way to do it
