I set the price at 16 keys assuming $1.25 per key. So $19.99 / $1.25 = 16

I would like proof that someone is selling this at 1.33 to 1.66 ref considering the pack is $19.99:

except store prices really dont mean much. Some weapons go for 10+$ (i.e. Pomson/Phlog) but that in no way makes them more than a scrap. Look at all the uncraftable hats/weps that have been in circulation, some of them cost over $10 yet they sell for 1 ref (for the hats), and 1 weapon (for the weapon).

*As i dont have tf2 open, i dont have access to the store to see exact prices--so....ya.

They actually go for about .33-1 ref. The weapons. Maybe a 1-2 key range is good now because these are still somewhat rare

I agree that it should not be 1.33-1.66 yet. It look awhile for the uncraft one to come down to that as well so I think raising it back up is smart but maybe not to the original price.

can u at least give 1 person who is SELLIING at this price. and fyi the price of the item in the mann co store DOES NOT affect its value. this site makes its prices on what people are buying/selling for an items. so plz give us proof.

Store prices don't mean anything, as you even said in your comment. "Assuming $1.25 per key." meaning store price of a key doesn't mean anything. Items RARELY match to their store price.

The price was originally made in response to store price. He's tryin to fix that.

YOU'RE the one who has to provide proof behind your suggestion, not the other way around. What does that mean? It means you have to find someone who has an offer around 16 keys within in last 3 hours.

1.33-1.66 was a bit low imo, but there are multiple offers that are below 1.5~ keys. Nowhere near 16.

O, bc wh has some slave sitting in a room watching every single item on outpost/trade servers and then immediately updating it. (putting the fact that the spreadsheet sucks, its also not updated constantly--it was last updated 7 hours ago---BEFORE the update.

I reset the price down because it's high value was due it being a glitch and rare as you can see if you check that this are in a slow increase. And I wanted a suggestion to come when the market started to show how much people buy these for now that they are non-glitch items

Like i said it was a reset. Just for the meantime till the market shows what it sells for.

Happened to the shoes and the scarf. But those are so popular that i think there's a lot now. And this is item is very unknown by most. So it hasn't grown a So i do believe "resetting" and waiting for actual trades to happen is best.

Going by mann co prices isn't right for your argument as these still were bought from store and people got uncrafts now all they'll be getting is clean ones and then we'll see how it goes for. I don't think it'll be expensive. Since it wasn't very liked (only cool to collect as it was a glitch)

I think the point here is that the decision to accept the previous price suggestion of 1.33-1.66 refined was accepted by 'Chief Robin Runs Away' without any evidence. There is no evidence for sales happening at 1.33-1.66 ref. Not even close. Period.

For such a dramatic price drop to be accepted so quickly by a moderator without any evidence sets a dangerous precedent.

Many people rely on this pricelist for their trades (perhaps foolishly). Saying this item is worth 1.33-1.66 refined is plain wrong. I was under the impression we should suggest and vote based on what the item is swapping hands for. The previous suggestion was accepted based on what some people would like the price to be... That is WRONG!

Moderators of this site have a responsibility to the community to make informed decisions based on EVIDENCE. In this case 'Chief Robin Runs Away' did not perform his duty.

I vote to reinstate the original price until such a time as evidence can be given regarding the true value of this item. To this end, tf2trademule's suggestion fits the bill.

I agree here. This shouldn't have been reset. There was a need for it on the scarf and boots because there was a matter of $7.50 vs. $30-60 dollars there. Easy scam material.

Here? You had to pay $20 to get the crest, it was a tough as hell trade at 18 keys to begin with. To get someone interested on an item like that, you have to cut in half, so.... what, 8-10 keys? Not even a good deal, much less a scam.

There was no issue on this one, it shouldn't have been placed at the uncraft price.

Of course with the 1.33-1.66 price, the scam might go the other way. Now the seller has the possibility of being scammed. I've had a few people add me to offer 1.33 and even someone linked me the backpack.tf price and said they would pay 4X the amount of backpack.tf price. I told them "Why the hell would I sell it to you for that price when I can sell it to tf2wh for the equivalent of 16.84 keys right now?" Hopefully the current owners of this clean item doesn't follow the backpack.tf price like the bible and get sharked

Wasn't rarity the only thing keeping the price high? People won't want it as badly if it is available from the store at any time.

For a good while, rarity will still be a strong part of it. It's a $20 bundle and, freely admitting this is speculation, I sincerely doubt it gets many purchases anymore.
