Sorry ran out of room in comments. Anyway Link 3 was offered a backpack expander + 4 ref ~4-4.5 keys, and Link 4 accepted a 3 key offer (hasn't traded yet).
*Edit, changed this as I messed up which offer went to which trade
I don't know about the two in the links since neither trade have gone through, but here's one that legitimately sold for 3 keys.

And to move in some proofs from my suggestions, offers are indeed reaching as high as 5.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/6686438 - Offer of 3 keys + FDU + 1 refined. Also an overpay of BP Expander + 4 ref + Pink Mutton Chops + Sneaky Spats
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/6696974 - Offer of 14 ref
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/6684717 - Uncertain here, but claims of an offer of 5 keys in items
Thanks for the evidence :D
No problem. I've been uncertain on mine since my 6 key ceiling was based on a single overpay and I've yet to see anything above 5 keys since. With a trade that was legitimately selling at 3 keys, it's looking like it makes sense for the range to go down from 5 instead of up.
The 3 key link is a troll trade and should be reported to outpost.
Which one?
Also there is no evidence that was a troll trade, and now he has closed the trade and traded the item to another user (check the item history) for 7.55 ref, or about 3 keys. So basically it wasn't a troll trade...
Well the user was on for a long while and the item wasn't sold and people kept posting add messages. It was most probably one.
There are plenty of reasons for things like that, maybe he just doesn't use op that much (also that was his first post, so probably that one), or he could have been away for a few days. I just think accusing someone of making a troll post off of that is jumping the gun a little.
Seriously, 4-5 keys is too much. Everyone can get them now, so there should be no increase in the price range. Don't come up with stupid reasons like, "HUEHUE, BUT THERE ARE ONLY 300 CLEAN SCARFS IN DA WORLDZ." People will buy more clean scarfs from the store. 2-3 keys
Did you even look at the evidence, also not once did i mention a stupid reason that you said as i agree with what you said, however the evidence is quite ...evident
Also store prices != to actual prices at all
That may happen in the future. This is a current price.
Most times people sell it for 4 keys atm
Good thing that's right in the middle of the price range then :D
Here's some others that were sold
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/6715490 - sold for ~3.5 keys in items
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/6705401 sold for dirty scarf + a ref, so ~3 keys
eh 5 keys seems a bit high tbh
The evidence (most of which was supplied by Vincent) says otherwise, and unfortunately opinions don't make prices.
Oh god. Imagine those people buying it for 2 buds :l
I agree I feel bad for them, and I'm happy I wasn't one of them, as I considered buying the set at one point.
