I only suggest this mostly because I haven't been able to sell my own sleeves for 2.33 even. There aren't many around it seems, more trading for this item must be done in game. I'd like to hear other opinions. Did a lot of outpost searching before suggesting this and most buyers offer the standard 1.33 and some 1.66, 2 ref doesn't seem implausible for a high.

    yeah, true. bougth a pair when i saw them for 1.55, thinking "hey i´ll sell it at full price". waited 2 weeks, no takers, then lowered to 2 ref, and its sold, but slowly

    These things just move very slowly, due to cheap competition (haunted, uncraft)

    Also, the overall market seems to be slow, I get the feeling everything takes longer to sell compared to last month.


    However, back on topic, this item still move at the current price, all you need is patience. Don't pick this item up if you want fast profits.

      I'd like to see this suggestion pass still, as from trading experience, if something doesn't sell, or even get a single offer after a few days of outpost bumping and several hours in trade servers, then the price is too high. More so on items of small value of course. Your evidence does leave me hopeful that I can sell my sleeves for 2 ref in decent time.

        If something doesn't sell for too long:

        It may be price related, but it doesn't mean the price will drop:

        -> You have to consider the seller, are they willing to sell at lower


        Given: I didn't see any sleeves sold at outpost for 1.66,

        -> They disappear so fast not leaving any traces

        -> Sellers are resisting the downward trend.


        Since you have one, you have to ask yourself,

        - Are you willing to sell yours for 1.66 with current price?

        - Will others sell their for 1.66 with current price?

        If you answer NO to either, you are most likely part of the resistance group without realizing.

          I consider the seller, and it varies between those who don't mind waiting forever to get maximum price, and those who don't mind less or considerably less than max to have currency instead. Time matters as well.


          As of now, link three is actively being bumped, 1 week old, and with not 1 offer. My own sleeves trade (http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/6646386) is 5 days old with only 30 views not counting my own, and no offers, and I've bumped it a few dozen times over those days.


          Link 5 shows that fobby agreed to 1.66, and I agree that would be a low end price. So I do agree with your points because they're good. I would agree more with sellers resisting the downward trend then that they are disappearing quickly. I am quite willing to sell for 1.66 by now if anyone ever shows interest.


          Because of the haunted and uncraft options with apparently more popularity, and sleeves being created in crafting with low demand, 1.66 seems realistic for quicksells with 2 ref as a moderate price, and 2.33 if you're lucky and patient.
