Good effort on trying to provide proof, but its a little messy.

However, its better to provide links to trade that are DONE, which means

- Buyers are willing to pay

- Sellers are willing part

Most are easily located as they are "black out" or changed owner (item id)

Other Findings:

1. The link selling for 1.66 has another trade selling for 1.88 (price ambiguity)

2. With more then 1 person selling for 1.88 (1 scrap lower then min) shows that this items is indeed getting cheaper

My conclusion:

Price has fallen slightly, due to good amount of people selling at mid/bottom of current.

But the fall is not enough to reach 1.66 - 2

When I normally provide proof I usually show the blacked out items, but on this occasion I was trying to show that the trades that are up are unsold for the current prices and lower, showing that there is a need for a drop. The reason I suggested the 1.66 is that the seller is offering it for 1.66 and unsold.

But I really appreciate you going to the trouble to get more information on the subject :) very kind of you instead of some of the normal NEWB DOWNVOTE! lol

Trying to sell one for 2 refined since weeks now, no takers ._.

I have a lot of these. I decided to cut the price to 1.66 today, because there is far more supply than demand, and selling for 2 ref is extremely slow

It's a nice hat, but too many people have it, and not enough people want it (more than 400 sellers on TF2OP). Trades are infrequent because it's very overpriced (especially on spreadsheet :/ ), so there are hundreds of people asking 2 ref+ for them, and very few buyers willing to pay so much.

The stagnant market for this item is a perfect example of the harmful effect price guides have on trading when they don't get updated frequently and accurately[/rant]

I expect it's eventually going to fall to 1.33-1.66. Basically, it's a cool craft hat with haunted quality, that's all.

My experience is only from selling many of these (15 over the last 2 weeks), but I'll see if I can find some evidence to post here
