He hasn't gotten any 3 bud offers, no reason to change it really

Just because an item is rare doesn't mean people are will pay more for it, only if they want to.

actually he have rejected the last month more than 5 1 buds offer so thats why i thought it was about time to suggest the new price!!

after valves last update the uncraftables are the new big player in the game mate and that hat is the king of all for me grater than houwar!!

See what happened when the B.M.O.C. & Ebenezer people wanted to push the price up because it is "so rare" but was stuff where the supply was 10x the demand? Now they've just failed miserably as you can see right now.

bmocs where never rare there are more than 50000 i think around 100000 of those same goes for ebenizer after all they where achievement items lets not forget about that

Yes BMOC's and Ebenezer's were inflated because of whole 'Christmas is coming' thing by some idiots....but thats not what his point is. What he is saying is that they got inflated because they were in demand, because people believed that they will be more expensive.....Christmas came....demand fell through roof and so did the price. What the actual point is that there needs to be demand. No one seems to be offering him 3 buds....so you cant put that up as price just because its only one on market and he says so.

And about BMOC's and Ebenezers....yeah Ebenezer is ugly.....but buds are just two pairs or wires....Summer hat doesnt look great...Bills are meh....max's are fugly....doesnt mean they aren't promos. You dont pay for promos for their looks. And talking about them being just achievement items.....HOUWAR, Treasure hat, Boounty hat, etc. are achievemen items too and they are considered promos as well. Promos mean items that you could only get for limited amount of time and there exists no alternative to the in any other version (eg: genuine, vintage, strange, unique etc.)

Actually this change doesn't affect these rare uc.

you cant have the same princibles for some rare items as for the rest items up for trade!!

demand is going to be bigger for keys than for UC/DC and thats understandable

If he wants a HOUWAR, it doesn't mean thats the price. If thats the case, then I want 2 buds for my strange equalizer. See how that doesn't work? Rarity doesn't dictate price. DEMAND does.

EDIT: an there are 18 uncraft versions out there so not 1 of 1 that price suggested by him is the price....even if it were 1 of 1 he cant simply just put a price and expect people to pay

collectives prices have nothing to do with how nice an item it is!! but how rare it is

HOUWARS are promos....you know what promos mean? They stand as a sign of wealth and form of currency. There are 52,000+ buds out there, 121000+ Bills out there and only 5000 Genuine Dashin Hashshasin out there and yet buds are about 5 times more expensive and Bills about almost twice expensive......you know why? Genuines like El Jefe, Merc's Scarf, Dashin, Double cross comm will never be true promos......you can always get their cheaper Unique and in some cases even Unusual versions of them so they don't remain exactly rare.

Buds, Bills, Big Kill, Max, Flip Flops, HOUWAR, BMOC, Ebenezer are true promos.....there never was a version of these items unique or vintage (expcept glitched) or genuine or Unusual and there never will be. Promos aren't priced because of their rareness alone. HOUWAR is symbol of wealth, Max and buds are used as currency in unusual trading, Bills, BMOC's, Flip Flops, Soldiers edal have sort of became status symbol. There is a demand for these for a reason.

When a person wears a HOUWAR or Max's head people go in awe saying how wealthy he must be.....when you wear a uncraft dead cone....no one notices.

lets say someone gave you 3 buds to buy a Dead Cone.....which will you pick?

A. uncraft dead cone

B. Scorching/Cloudy Moon/Stormy the 13th Hour/Sunbeams Dead cone

C. why spend on dead cone? I can get better hats

.....and yes this maybe only one Uncraft Dead Cone in the market....but there are 17 others who might come in market soon too. That is the cases in unusuals many times. There may be only 5 of a given hat-effect combo out there but only one in market....that doesnt mean you can inflate the price by 3-9 times. Thats not how market works. People have got better things to spend on.

Agreed, with both Sandulf and Derpy; just because it is the only one on the market at the moment, doesn't mean there is a demand for it. It has been untouched for about a month now, meaning that no one is really meaning to spend the time and effort to get the amount this person is asking for, and even he himself acknowledges that he isn't expecting a HOUWAR for it.

And yes, it may be the only one currently on the market, but the market changes, and nothing remains the same, meaning that in time, another one may appear to take this ones place, just as it is the same for unusuals that only have 5 in existence, but only one on the market.

This is a downvote until it is proven that this item has been sold for your suggested 3 bud price.

Based on the previous suggestion, 1.5-2 buds would be a more appropriate pricing, given it went for an unusual hound dog at ~1.7 and a s. festive scattergun at ~2 buds worth. Even the trade you linked showed the owner expressing interest in a s. festive scattergun, a far cry from his supposed HOUWAR buyout.

3 buds is, unfortunately, an unsupported price. No one has been shown being willing to pay that much now or having paid that much in the past.

There have been trades in the past and the current trade has been around for a month. There is sufficient information to go off of to properly price this.

Well I don't know if we really can price this without any serious (public) offers in the last month.

And we don't know if the trade would accept 2 buds or something like that too, since he bought it for a sf scatter.

How did it ever pass for 1 bud? 1 trade doesn't justify a price change.

Single trades carry a lot more weight for extremely rare and rarely traded items like this.

Makes sense since they are so low in number. Like the guy selling his 2 of a kind unusual for $700.
