Got 10 keys and 11 keys offers on a # 8570
Upvote
and Warehouse pays 10 keys on any medal too....agreed with new price range
I just remembered this trade
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/6680657
10k+ medal sold for 11 keys....with another offer of 10 keys lined up too.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/6609258 - TS Bills + dirty chops (~10 key offer on 7k+ medal)
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/5076632 - 10 key offer on 9k+ medal
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/6612409 - TS Bills + 3 ref offer (~10keys 2 days ago on 8k+ medal)
And 33.33 ref is actually 11.5 keys if 1 key is 2.88 ref.
Yes, but people are still willing to sell medals for 11 keys. I direct you to Ultrapyre's offer on this trade: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/6170774
As well as where I got mine: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/6574898 :3
Update:
Link 1 is a punk who just changed his price from 33.33 ref to 29 ref. Anyways I think enough people saw that he was originally paying 33.33 ref for it not to matter.
You gotta be f@#$ing kidding me! :))
Downvote, downvote,downvote,downvote,downvote!
This suggestion is going to be closed, just like my suggestion was closed. I think it's fair to say this is plain stupid.
Why you handpicked 3 trades and didn't put the ones with VERY high offers?
Again... downvote,downvote,downvote!
The ones you are talking about with very high offers have low #'s on them. Brad said they are working on a feature where they are pricing medals according to craft #'s.
Medals 10k. It would be idiotic to consider 10 keys as price on craft #50 or #1337 or #1234 etc.
I made suggestion similar as yours few days back and got shot down. I think they should either completely remove the medal's pricing from backpack.tf until Brad implements new feature or specify the range of craft numbers it is valid for.
The lack of tiers for medals is a known issue and it is on the site's to-do list.
Did you just flag every comment above you? Anyways as I said in the description: this is changing the base price of medals. It is not factoring in for certain medal numbers and is simply increasing the value of the medal overall.
Also stop being so negative on every single service medal trade. Your name comes up quite a bit. Like on this one: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/6752411
Also this one where a guy specifically mentioned in his notes not to post like Andrei: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/6632374 (Look at the two hidden comments right above remote_)
What I understood from what you've told me before, is that one cannot suggest a price for the medals, because some sell for 10 keys and some sell for 3 buds. You make this suggestions only for a specific range of #s, but if it gets accepted like N1ck0N's suggestion in the past, it will reflect the price for any medal, for those looking to sell (and are a bit less initiated in trading).
Again, the medals should at least have a note, whatever the price change. How the hell did Spreadsheet managed to range the prices more closer to the reality and here on bp.tf it's impossible?
Whatever the price you, me or anyone else suggests, it'll still be wrong and unrealistic. So my question for you is: Why bother? To up your passed suggestions maybe?
Current price is for lowest possible price on a medal. The suggestion is to up the price on the lowest price on a medal. Nice and consistent.
Backpack.tf isn't currenly designed to hande a wide range of values. If you put in 11-35 keys, as you suggested, that would mark ALL medals as worth 23 keys. That is inaccurate, and certainly no more accurate than the current price.
Until a system to handle ranges of medal numbers is implemented, this suggestion is consistent with how backpack.tf is currently pricing medals and worth updating as such.
I think the current price is fine, only lower number or unique craft numbers are worth extra. You can get as many as you want off tf2wh for 114k credits and you can buy 114k credits for about 11-12USD. The current price is already a tad high but close enough to actual selling---i wouldn't push it higher.
edit:
actually i think this should be a flat 10 keys or the price should be in refined. Still too many people selling for 10 and not buying at 11.
