I bought one for 26 refined (pure accident, that guy offerd it below my Hat-buying Trade for cheap craft hats), he was really desperate to sell it :p

I've been lowballing on my shop post and just bought one for $16, which is only about 13 keys. People are desperate to dump these and they are dropping by a TON. No doubt that you could find people willing to go down to 12 keys.

Go back to your old price bmoc, you are worthless and s**t. bills > bmoc.

guess why people are desperate to dump? because of posts like these.

It's also all soon after each other. 5 hours after the last suggestion got accepted, people are making new ones trying to lower the price and put in links the quicksells. Nobody is waiting to stabilize, it's like everyone wants this hat to go down

i call this chain crashing.

1.people speculate that price will drop

2.people sell for less than current price

3.people note said sales and current apparent price drops

4.people see that price has dropped and sell for even less, speculating a further crash

and repeat and repeat and repeat

this is exactly my point.

Not too different from how it rose in the first place.

1. People speculate price will rise (christmas is coming!)

2. People buy swarms at cheapest available price and hoard them.

3. People note how you can't buy for the former cheapest price and current apparent price raises

4. People see that prices are rising and buy for even more, because price will rise (christmas is coming!)

The speculative bubble at its finest.

It's also what is going on with keys and a lot of other things. The influence of that little green or red arrow next to a price on here has a huge influence on the values people place on items.

Maybe this site should introduce a delay of a few days on suggestions with recently updated prices. Most item's prices don't change very quickly or dramatically, and if there is a special case an admin can always add a suggestion before the time. But it would limit the chain effect that this site can have on prices, and that effect is only going to get bigger as this site becomes more popular.

However, this will only happen until the actual value of the hat as a hat is reached.

And thats why people saying that themed items should go up for determined holiday are wrong. Upvote.

If you want to say that people without a B.M.O.C. want to get one cheaper by upvoting this, you're bloody damn wrong.

Look it all up, look the evidence up, look what actually happened all this time and what people did to put the price so high and then you'll understand it all.

The ones for 15 keys are sold out fast already.That means it was a quicksell. So the current price is fine.

Why the fuck are you dropping Xmas items' prices

We aren't dropping them backpack.tf is meant to reflect the current market value. If people look at backpack.tf and then try to sell for cheaper then the price will lower again and again which is happening right now because every is freaking out about the price lowering, so they decide to sell for lower than it is currently value. Hence price dropping spree.

They will stabilize at some point. Once all those who bought BMOC's just for investment's sake get out of the BMOC trading game it will be better

As did everyone. Now because of a few people that had to sell for cheaper the price went down, and then everyone saw that little down arrow on the price and started unloading their bmocs onto the market for cheaper driving the actual buying and selling price lower and lower. It's all very tragic, but it is in fact the same way the value went up in the first place because a few people that thought they were investing by buying them at a higher price thinking they would rise.

[DOWNVOTE] i sold an unpainted BMOC for 17 keys within 3 hours of getting it. current price is fine and alot of people are getting it easily.

i remember the bmoc was once worth 12 keys… i think it was at summer this year

once it costed less than unpainted Bills. But then people started to wait christmas in June or July. Funny tf2 economics

in my opinion the people that own this item don t like it they jjust see it as an investment.i personaly like this hat but i am just not willing to pay a bill for it. the BMOC might also drop again during chrismass, i secretly hope i does happen :° but it s unlikely.
